After finishing an online class this morning, I realized that Amber and Becky could use their free time (LOL) to better themselves or learn new skills. It seems that they are stuck in time where are they already know everything they need and nothing else is important. Becky has some talent but could use additional training to be really good at drawing mangas, even making a go financially at it. Amber, if she finally follows her WL doctor, will need to cook at home more and could take on-line cooking courses to prepare food that would be compatible with her diet. Most people, except maybe the aged, like to learn but do not have the time because of work and minding children, but these two have all the time in the world. Learning is enjoyable, but I guess when all you like is eating, that is all you will do.

I genuinely find myself entirely lost when I try to imagine what a day in the life of Amber and the thumb looks like. Do they really just sit around and play video games, color in adult coloring books, watch movies, eat, and shop for unnecessary shit at wommart? Give me top hats but that's honestly such a pathetic life. Surely, they must both yearn for a more fulfilling life? Weight loss aside, what kind of goals would Amber or Becky even have to achieve a feeling of fulfillment in their lives that would last long-term? Please god, do not let any person allow Amberlynn Reid to adopt a fucking child now or ever. I doubt either of them are going to school anytime soon, if at all. Like, you really don't even want to volunteer or get a part time retail gig, not necessarily because you need the additional income, but for something that gives you a bit of extra money to spend and makes you feel like you're contributing to society and a greater cause, even if small? It perplexes me. I can't wrap my head around it.

This might be an autistic observation, but I've always speculated that Necky smokes weed very regularly, perhaps daily - I know it's confirmed both of them have smoked before, but it would explain why she's so content to sit around doing fuck all with hamplanet. Hard to be bored out of your mind if you're constantly stoned. Also, it would make life with Amber bearable. Well, maybe.

As for what was said about making any kind of financial gain from drawing manga, I suppose Becky could try it, but in my opinion, she draws like a SHUUUUPER talented fifth grader and will not progress to any decent level of skill to produce any money. Like the spoiler title says, slight PL; I made freelance commission artwork online pretty steadily for about a year. But before you can even begin to make any money, you have a lot of hoops to jump through. Unless you hit that viral tweet because you're exceptionally lucky, you have to establish yourself on multiple social media platforms to be available to a wide enough audience for a business, you have to establish a style, pricing - potential customers want to see what you have behind your belt, so be prepared to display a halfway decent portfolio or some kind of collection of artwork of yours so they know what to expect and what they're paying for. Also, have fun dealing with shitbags constantly trying to barter or haggle prices on artwork you're selling far below the price you should be asking for or receiving because fuck people. In other words, it's not as simple as a lot of people tend to think, and this isn't even considering whether Becky would want to pursue an actual manga, one to print and sell - which is an entirely different can of worms. So basically, nothing Becky would be capable of comprehending or executing.
