Ouch. Cellulitis, especially at her weight/level of mobility, can get ugly pretty quickly. But all of those symptoms that she was chalking up to norovirus are also associated with cellulitis as it starts to move toward its more serious infection stages. I’ve wondered a couple of times in the past when Amber complained of fever, nausea, etc if it was actually a case of cellulitis getting worse. That shit is no joke. (But at least Amber always will be.)

Patients with cellulitis and limited mobility and/or ability to take care of themselves (cleaning, changing wound dressings, etc) can end up hospitalized for weeks, sometimes followed by more weeks or months in a rehab or nursing facility to regain enough strength and mobility to go home on their own.

I was about to post to get somebody to clarify this. So this means that she lied about norovorus instead of admitting it’s her lymphedema or saying nothing at all? She’s lied about some stupid shit, but that takes the cake. She could have just not mentioned anything at all, but her need for attention is so great that she told everyone she has a literal shit virus.

So she’s still trying to shill the healthy at every size thing, but she’s got to do Olympic level lying and mental gymnastic to make it work. If nothing else has proven that she knows EXACTLY what she’s doing, this did. She is fully aware that she’s killing her self and her YouTube channel is still more important to her than not dying.

She would rather lose a leg, end up with a rare cancer or worse if doing something about it means that she would lose views. There’s no other explanation for why she would do this shit.

Most morbidly or super morbidly obese people are aware that their situation is bad and they actually want to do something about it, even if they’re not ready to tackle their issues or they try and fail but they’re trying to some extent. A lot of others are just complacent and ignoring it because the problem feels too big (pun) to solve. Amber and Chantal not only don’t care about getting healthy, they’re actively trying to make it worse. They’re going out of their way and adding extra steps to get bigger.

I find it sad, in a humanity type of way, that she is more preoccupied with concealing and spinning her secrets than actually fixing the underlying problem. I hope Big Al likes having to watch carbs like a hawk and take pills on the regular, because she'll need to do that or risk slipping into a diabetic coma.
