I’m a big believer in karma, so I’m extremely hesitant to wish death upon anyone. That being said, if she did die, I’d have a hard time sympathizing. We’ve all had struggles, some of which could have very well led us to an early grave (mental illness, ED, addiction, reckless behavior, anger issues) but I believe that most people deal with and overcome those issues.

I’m of the opinion that most people have serious issues at least for a small period of their life. What’s left over is a smaller percentage that either don’t have the resources to move past whatever is bringing then down, or people who embrace the hedonism and turn it into a lifestyle.

I’m not alone in thinking that she absolutely doesn’t deserve what she has. Most people who just say “fuck it” don’t end up making a livable wage by exploiting their mental illness at the world’s easiest job. Most people who have the issues that she has either have to get help, or their life ends up being extremely difficult.

We see the small percentage that manage to turn being a train wreck into a career and it is often infuriating. My question is, how long will it really last? We’ve seen the biggest content creators like Shane Dawson and James Charles have the table cloth pulled right out from under them in an instant, so why not someone like Amber? She’s pulled multiple stunts that would get more liked people cancelled without a doubt.

The only logical answer is that nobody actually likes her and her audience WILL keep coming back because they’re not waiting for her to make a positive change, they’re waiting for her to fail miserably. What they don’t realize is that she’s perpetually failing miserably and they’re blinded to that fact because they’ve become desensitized by seeing bigger cancellations. And even with a lot of those, the creator isn’t ever truly canceled. Trisha Paytas is a good example of that.
Hell, even Shane is slowly coming back and to nobody’s surprise, people are actually being receptive.

I think Amber will continue to ride the plateau that she’s currently on for awhile. Nothing she says or does will lead to an abrupt end to her career. In fact, the worse she acts, the better her channel performs. People eat that shit up. I don’t see her burning out any time soon. She will inevitably run into worse and worse issues as she gets bigger and older and each one will lead to a small rejuvenation to her channel. People are going to have to naturally lose interest as time goes on. The only other way i can see her becoming completely irrelevant is if people start to think like us and they get tired of watching a 600lb toddler verbally abuse them while committing a slow suicide on camera, all while making a good living while the rest of us have to actually work to survive. I think the latter will be a much slower process.
