So he started to smear a Republican candidate.




In 1980 he was convicted to serve 50 years in jail, 14 years later he was out on parole and became a 'voter integrity' activist warning about
rigged elections. When some bloggers found out his past he decided to sue them. 2 of them also got swatted.

Looking into this Chet Uber guy who supposedly ran Project Vigilant DMs Ron in 2015 detailing how Neal Rauhauser fucked up his operation with HBGary and made his life a living hell. Neal had a phone call over Vigilant detailing it.

Project Vigilant is described as an info harvesting operation that collected things on users from a dozen ISPs and would export that information to the feds, Some of it might be exaggerated but that's what I'm seeing based off from what others describe it to be. This Vigilant thing also appears to involve Adrian Lamo (who died in his home) and Bradley "Chelsea" Manning with Wikileaks stuff as well while a couple sources state that Vigilant is some publicity stunt.

Interesting, So when I'm scrolling along this feed, Patterico mentions how Neal Rauhauser fantasized about killing Republicans, Especially Dick Cheney and may have some fetish for shoes. Another thing I discovered is Neal being close with this Nadia Naffe person involved in lawsuits also involving James O'Keefe a decade ago, Not sure if Neal is still in touch with Nadia Naffe.
