It's too bad Singapore doesn't have the death penalty for child sex offenders. The only forms of rehabilitation that work for nonces are a bullet in the head, the rope, or a helicopter ride.

Yee, 27, is currently held at Dodge Detention Facility in Juneau, Wisconsin, according to checks on the ICE detainee database on Monday (Nov 24).

On Nov 20, Yee was released on parole from Danville Correctional Center, Illinois, where he had been serving time for possession of child pornography and grooming a child.

According to ICE, people are detained to "secure their presence for immigration proceedings or removal" from the country.

They may also be taken into custody if ICE determines they are a "public safety or flight risk" during the custody determination process.

CNA has contacted US ICE for more information, including whether Yee would be deported to Singapore.

In response to media queries, Singapore's Ministry of Defence said it is unable to comment on whether there have been discussions between US and Singapore authorities about Yee's deportation.

"Amos Yee has committed offences under the Enlistment Act, including failing to report for pre-enlistment medical screening and remaining outside of Singapore without a valid Exit Permit," said the ministry.

It added that Yee would be charged with the offences upon his return to Singapore.

saying that the punishment had to do with his opinions on religion/government rather than that he dodged military service by fleeing the country
his specific excuse was something like-

it comes down to a judge about whether or not hes deported and at every turn they have given this pedo a free pass

Even if he doesn’t get asylum, he can still get Withholding of Removal like Maryland Man got. It has a lower bar and doesn’t grant lawful status but it gives you authorized stay. It also means he can’t be deported to Singapore but can technically be deported elsewhere. If the case were to get more attention, there would be more pressure to find a way to deport him somewhere. Given his pedophilia, I’m sure Trump could come up with a legal basis to kick him out. Public safety or national interest are easy outs.

Let’s hope he stays in Changi for a while. Unlikely he gets knifed there unless he’s that much of an annoying faggot but look at the cells. No bed or anything. Just a mat to sleep on the floor and two blankets - if you want a pillow, better fold one up (which tbh, given the weather and temperature conditions of Singapore makes sense - breeding ground for insects and illness).

Most known paedos love making people uncomfortable about their enjoyment of fucking children. They get off on it. The reason why he got famous in the first place was because he pissed off the royal family and made them look like a bunch of tyrants in front of the world. They’ll find a reason to kill him even if it means paying a few prison guards to Epstein him.
