What can I say? I have a tendency to look at a lot of these cows as it being an act because it's too stupid to be real otherwise. DSP, Jace Connor, Chris himself at the start and others. It's like I have a hard time believing that people are honestly this stupid.

Amos has always struck me as being thirsty for recognition. He's a former child actor from what I've read and when that stopped being a thing he felt the need to still be in the public eye. He wanted people to know who he was and I was behind him on the whole free speech thing. That's a big deal where he was. But once he was here he started on the whole pedo thing which led to believe he was doing so to create controversy even going as far as to start a pedo discord for the sake of stirring the pot. But in the end, maybe we have a case of "Mother Night" and how you portray yourself is how you truly are.

It's a novel by Kurt Vonnegut that had a movie adaptation about 20 years ago. Long story short Howard W. Campbell Jr is an American living in Germany and is approached by an unknown member of the CIA looking to recruit him to pass secret messages to agents hidden behind enemy lines. He has to pose as a Nazi and they'd send him coded messages, with specific words and pauses between words, that he would then speak from a Nazi run radio station.

In the end, even though he wasn't a Nazi, he's now in jail for war crimes and he's writing his memoirs which is what we read in the book. The whole point of the book is asking, "are we who we say we are or are we who we appear to be"? Was Howard W. Campbell Jr an American patriot helping out the war effort or was he a Nazi? Which version of him is correct.

The ending is left ambiguous in both the novel and movie as to whether or not he kills himself or does he simply kill "Howard W. Campbell Jr" and becomes a new person free of the stigma of Nazi afterwards?

Also argued children's legal and physiological/mental/emotional inability to consent is a form of oppression, as if babies not being able to physically handle being penetrated is just a social construct. That's slightly hyperbolic because this shit makes me actually sperg rage, but it's actually not far off the mark with what he was actually saying. It wasn't a matter of "free speech" contrary to what people were claiming even then and saying he was advocating pedophilia in a vague sense was always something that caused people to assume at a distance he was trolling. He was not only in support of ownership of CP but he openly advocated child sex exploitation (even claiming systematic sex abuse and grooming of kids was healthy), child sex trafficking, general violence against children and abolishing the age of consent. CP was barely the tip of the iceburg.

He was never a troll in this context and people even called for his deportation as the skeptics tried to damage control and twist the situation to cover their asses since they convinced a bunch of rubes and galaxy brains to donate money and time over the Islam debacle. And tbf I don't think it was wrong to defend Amos over the legitimate free speech issues he faced, but he used that to his advantage and would go on to unironically use his newfound platform to "debate" CP and the ethics of fucking toddlers. Amos was one of the primary reasons I stopped following political YTers in any serious capacity, not to PL lol. It became very clear at that point that heavily invested individuals would try and sympathize with people like Amos instead of admit some folks take advantage of hot button political issues and idiots to get away with criminal degeneracy.

I believe once he came to the US he was placed in a home with a family with foster children. They kicked him out because of "his opinions" he claimed in a stream. I always wondered if they kicked him out because he did something fucked or they suspected he did or was planning to. Regardless, glad he's been busted.
