No, he can’t be sent back to Singapore as his asylum request was in direct response to the fact that he is in danger in Singapore. It violates the US policy on asylum seekers and international human rights courts to send someone back to a place they fled in fear of their lifeHis asylum status will be lifted if he is convicted?
This means he will go back to Singapore where he is wanted for avoiding mandatory military service.
i’m not sure if he had destroyed his Singaporean nationality but I think that’s apart of the asylum process, you can’t also keep your nationality to the place you fled from.
This is why the term “asylum seeker“ is a very loaded term in the UK and Europe, you can never get rid of on asylum seeker unless they opt to get asylum in another country. Economic migrants are better as your legally allowed to yeet them back to their own muslim majority shit hole.
