If you have crypto (T&Cs apply) you can acquire anything like that. It's just a matter of using the appropriate wiki, having the grapes to do it and not using a honeypot (good luck). The dark web culture war is dominated by pro vs anti cp dissemination/trading types. She mentioned having an 'attila box' which is her dad's product and she'd have to be dumb as a brick to use one supplied by him, but it implies she was fucking around in the way Bella is prone to do.

Zorgoth then sent me a photo he had received from someone in the group. I asked him later to estimate when they sent it to him, and he said a year to year and a half ago. I have tagged the people that we already know their identity. The female in the center is not the other girl in the cake photos. The others may be entirely unrelated to Bella's current group of friends, as this likely was taken between fall 2019-summer 2020.

Finally, I ask if he has any screencaps of where Bella talked about molestation, loli, CP, etc. He says he doesn't think so, but said he will check. Then he recommended I reach out to another user, who I established is Toph/Chris, who is in Allen's DM logs. I asked Zoe about Toph and she said she believes he kind of distanced himself from the group fairly early on, but I will see if we can get ahold of him next.

both saddened and somewhat relieved (?) that this dude couldn't provide more than just speculation, it's dissapointing that he knows so little about this. but i do think her taking a dive into spud filled rage about disabling java script on the dark net is very telling.

I think a mix of both is probably true. My teens will text me messages like this, breaking up what could be a single text into multiple lines:

At the same time though, Bella's messages are so riddled with typos that she doesn't bother to correct even though they are probably confusing even to her friends trying to read them. It's like her fingers can't keep up with her thoughts.

The problem with that is obtaining that proof puts everyone at risk. Even the suggestion of CP maybe being in the logs is enough to abort the whole thing.

Imo we should focus on collecting everything else. If she gets busted for any of her known crimes, I have little doubt any real CP wouldn't be found.

Unless I'm a retard and there's a way to prove it without viewing/sharing the incriminating content

This put me at ease, but I'll leave the rest of my post intact below for posterity.

Regarding the logs from the OP about Bella being a 4chan admin for a "thread" - I assume Zorgoth means "boards"

This made my hair stand up on the back of my neck. Okay, here is some relevant background information. I used to be a janitor on 4chan many years ago. How it works is that jannies can usually only see reports for their assigned boards. BUT, if a post gets 3 or more reports for "illegal content" it goes into a global queue so that any available janitor can take care of it right away. That's how janitors take down CP immediately, they can issue temp bans while waiting for a mod. This really sounds like she was taking advantage of the global illegal report queue to collect CP as a pedophile herself WHILE SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE KEEPING IT OFF THE SITE. Fucking disgusting.

I was always concerned that someone might abuse the global report queue in that way. Because of the size of the size of the site, if she were a really active janny she would be handling multiple reports like that a day, sometimes more if there was a spammer active that day. You can be the janitor of a small board like "papercraft and origami" and still see a high volume of illegal content because of the way the report system works. IF she is telling the truth about being a janny she basically had illegal content streamlined straight to her multiple times a day with plausible deniability.

Disclaimer: It has not been proven that Bella was actually a 4chan janitor. She cold have been lying to show off to her edgy friends. Also I haven't been a janitor since 2016ish but I doubt it's changed much since then.

If you browse around on Tor, you will inevitably stumble on some shit which will warn you to disable Javascript because there is a vulnerability with it which can expose you because the given vulnerability ultimately circumvents the main protection methodology of Tor (layers of encryption through relays ("Onion routing")). If you ask me for an example of such a warning, I can't provide one off the top of my head... nor would I want to go looking for one... but if you spend like an hour randomly browsing Tor links you'll stumble upon such a warning eventually before noping the fuck out of whatever website it was included on.

No doubt in my mind she was using Tor nefariously for these exact purposes.

This sort of warning does appear on legitimate sites like darkweb markets as well, and it's valid, in that after the FBI has taken control of servers for certain sites in the past* they have put malicious javascript onto the sites that would expose the actual IP addresses of users. All it really requires is a decent exploit in the Firefox JS engine- at which point the attacker can launch something externally that will talk back to a FBI run server in the clear.

On the other hand, I doubt this freak was doing something legitimate like buying a select-fire backplate for a Glock or ketamine or something- almost certainly hunting for kiddie porn.

* supposedly mainly CP ones, but the FBI isn't exactly trustworthy
