I doubt there are a lot of sane parents willing to bleed out $50 a month for trash on the internet, but there's definitely cases where the kid gets the money by just vaguely saying it's for an online course, and their parents trust they're doing something productive with their life. Good luck suing someone who's doing nothing but documenting reality for slander or defamation. The Romanian legal system failed us all when they couldn't make the charges stick on the Tate brothers, and the American legal system failed us all by allowing the Tate brothers to file lolsuits instead of immediately dismissing them with extreme prejudice. For as much love as I have for the meme president America has, I still maintain that it's fucking gay and degenerate that Trump prodded Romania to release the Tate brothers, instead of letting them rot in prison like they rightly deserve. I said it before and I'll say it again: of all the Americans imprisoned overseas on fallacious charges, the Tate brothers absolutely, 100% were the *only* ones who deserved to stay incarcerated.

This wouldn't be a big deal by itself, but Keir Starmer is promoting the series now as the perfect illustration of the problem and a fundamental basis of any discussion thereof from now on. Ok that's hyperbole, but a PM doesn't just candidly shout out a particular piece of media when it's related to a serious topic.

Because while I might be wrong, I heard some minor shit-fit happened since the kid who's white in the show was based on some brown, muslim kid IRL or something. And people claimed the race change was so no one would show the muzzies in a bad light or something.

As for Tate himself, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the shit this retard is spewing lead to another Elliot Rodgers or something in the near future. Hopefully the Romanians put him in prison, if not the UK or US.

The race-swapping was probably partly to avoid having to deal with people baselessly accusing the Beeb of being racist and/or Soophia Khan-alike lawyers trying to grift off it and the rest was that Tate is mostly viewed as white bellend who appeals to white incels so it fits audience expectations. There's been plenty of disaffected muslim yoofs in Britain for decades, they used to get groomed by AQ and Daesh so at least this is less harmful. I wonder if the Tates would slighted by that comparison.

Conservatives don’t really uphold conservative values anymore. The Tates are a perfect convergence of two factors:

1. The conservative obsession to own libtards. If you are hated by da libs, there are going to be retards who support you by default.

2. The conservative obsession with tokenism. Modern conservatives are desperate to have nonwhite allies. Especially if they’re in sports. The Tates barely qualify with the latter but they definitely conform with the former.

Ownin’ da libs is a pretty retarded metric for how valuable someone is, as we see with the Tates but it’s still very much a prevalent mindset amongst conservatives and griftnats.

I cringe when I hear people say "woke" or talk about owning stupid libs.

I hate it so much. When I was younger (when I was a teenager) I used to listen to people like Crowder, Tim Pool, etc. but I can't stand listening to even one minute of it. I'd prefer listening to people chew with their mouth open.

For me, most things people say is done for the grift and I can see right through it.
