So I went back to gab to see what the boomers were up to and its pretty much the same as usual...the site runs like absolute shit, there's tons of spam, and endless cringe posts from people out of touch with society and even reality. Some are still posting Qanon bullshit from various fake news websites about Pelosi being arrested and someone trying to assassinate Trump and whatever, but not so many buyers now. The smarter Qanon accounts have pivoted to posting about GME and how you should hoard silver.

These people are a cancer and would destroy any free speech platform. Hopefully they stay on dead end Gab and don't discover Minds.com which is a pretty cool shitposter haven.

I've seen this and the question is: just who are these people? They pivot from scheme to scheme and have unlimited time to spend online. The silver thing is a forced meme and nothing to do with GME shorts at all.

Apparently there's price squeeze on silver too kinda like the GME short that's causing silver to be undervalued, but I don't know shit about commodities.

Old right wing idiots are really, really dumb when it comes to the internet. They're unlikely to discover many other platforms unless they're physically driven off the ones they already use (which is why this site shut down registrations for a bit when people moved off Parler but has them open now). If Gab stays up they will stay on it.

It's dead. Even if it comes back, Gab and Minds already absorbed the majority of their userbase, it's going to be a 8kun situation.

For all Gab's faults, they deserve their current alt tech flagship status by magnitudes more than Parler.
