WITH THE FULL CONSENT OF ALL PARTICIPANTS, I was able to edit messages in PM conversations... including, messages that other people had posted.

Allowing that? They could be retarded. They could be careless. Or they could be providing a great way for FBI informants to set people up and claim they endorsed threats of violence.

Personally? Given Torba's habit of colluding with the FBI, I suspect the latter.

Later, they released the 'Dissenter' comment site. Soon after this was deployed, they added a live chat function.

The live chat didn't sanitize input. You could add background playing audio to popular pages. You could even add totally arbitrary javascript to redirect people to malicious sites or launch cryptominers. It took a couple days for this to be fixed. Amazing.

Oh and this whole thing is why you should be on more then one of these alt-tech sites if you're too spicy for twitter, fagbook, jootoob, etc.

No, this whole thing is why you shouldn't post on any of these sites unless you can do it through Tor and use a different identity on every site.
