Self-proclaimed journalist Andy Ngo posted a photo of a 17-year-old to his Instagram. He included the minor's name and their location in the post.

Self-proclaimed journalist Andy Ngo doxed a minor after they threatened to milkshake him.

Ngo posted a photo of the 17-year-old to his Instagram. He included the minor’s name and their location in the caption.

The teen, along with friends, found Ngo’s phone number and texted Ngo a photo of him getting “milkshaked,” a form of antifascist activism where protesters will either hurl a milkshake at or pour one on right-wing figureheads.

In screenshotted messages posted to Twitter by a user who knows the teen, the teen claimed Ngo “reverse number searched us.”

The 17-year-old further claimed they were the only one with a Twitter account, which is why Ngo specifically targeted them.

“Did investigating & found out the harassing text I received is connected to phone # linked to [redacted] aka [redacted]. I recognize name because he produced a list of @ICEgov employees for comrades to stalk—the same list shared by Dayton antifa mass killer,” Ngo wrote, tagging Twitter Support.

Ngo included the handles to both the teen’s main Twitter account, which uses their real name, and a secondary account of theirs.


On Instagram, Ngo similarily boasted about finding the teen’s identity and posted more of the teen’s personal information.

“I found the identity of the person who sent me a harassing phone text. [redacted] is a [redacted] in the [redacted] area and antifa ideologue linked to a mass killer,” Ngo wrote.


The user who posted the screenshots also tweeted that the teen “had to deactivate for his own safety because Andy Ngo has doxxed him on his Instagram. And yes [redacted] is a minor.”

The teen’s secondary Twitter account appears to have been suspended.

Ngo might be in violation of Instagram’s terms of use regarding exposing private information. Posting private and confidential information, like “location information” is in violation of its terms, according to Instagram.

I think it's an artificial difference created by the leftist brigade itself. "Coming out" with "controversial" stances like that you hate Trump and republicans, or non-stances that most people hold but you pretend is exclusive to the left like that you're against racism or want to help poor people, costs you absolutely no kind of risk or sacrifice because all of the institutions with the power to punish you - news media, academia, Twitter, etc. - will all side with you and give you empty clapter because doing so also reaffirms their own empty stances. Conversely, coming out with any kind of conservative position gets you put squarely in the crosshairs of all those same powers and their sycophantic mobs because those people need conservatives to be evil so they can promote their own power. This will be doubly true when the peers you deal with every day are brainless teenagers who gobble up the leftist brainwashing because it triggers an endorphin rush for thinking they're on the right side of history without them actually having to do any work to earn it.

People have this incredibly inaccurate idea that journalism once was truly fair and balanced and only cared about objectively informing the viewer and trusting them to make up their own minds. The Kronkite era is held up as this, along with a lot of the rest of the 50s and 60s. But it just isn't true - sometimes it feels almost as deluded as the incel belief that if they grew up in the 50s they'd have a perfect 10 stacy while still sitting on their asses playing games all day. I think we here know Kronkite himself had a very undeserved reputation for neutrality but the entire industry has always been yellow. I would argue today is a safer time for journalistic integrity than any other specifically because today you can have true grassroots investigation that investigates the "guard dogs" themselves. People think the Kronkite era was so peaceful and trustworthy because 3 gigantic networks had an oligopoly on the entire public voice and it wasn't even possible to call them out on their bullshit. The fact that they have tuned news into an open warzone today is just because they can no longer hide their biases.

If people want to say ngo isn't a journalist that's fine, but its kind of dumb, at a minimum he would be a citizen journalist.

The only definition of "journalist" that should matter is if you start investigating and speaking about current events and someone decides to listen to you. There literally cannot be any kind of gatekeeping because then who does the gatekeeping? Either it would be the government giving out loicenses - de facto state media, since any news source from one guy on Twitter all the way up to a titan the size of CNN would fear having their license revoked if they criticized the wrong people - or it would be a body of "established" journalists, which would just return us to a day when an oligopoly of the major networks would decide anyone criticizing their own reporting suddenly isn't a "real" journalist.

The attitudes in Seattle are pretty wild, it's common for teenagers to throw slurs at law enforcement of all stripes. ICE detention centers get the worst of it because local government coordinates with activists to carry out ops that help them score political points.

As long as everyone's focused on the big bad guys they don't agree with, local government can keep on keeping on with it's slow decline. In Seattle, there's mobile home camps that operate as open air drug markets, kids live there along with homeless addicts who severely need treatment. Suicide is underreported, street violence / drug overdoses are almost ignored by officials, local police don't investigate most theft unless you can prove the perp has done it before (and even then, they usually don't charge for anything under $5k even when violence was involved.)

Social services are a joke, you can get no-doc free health care and a living stipend just by claiming you recently moved there - some people have been living this way for over a decade. There are people who migrate between Seattle and Portland every 6 months to reup their benefits every time they run out. The numbers are growing, you're starting to see migrations occur on the same schedule to save on gas. Try breaking out of that cycle, there are a lot of crabs to pull you back in the bucket.

This kind of environment is pretty rough to live in. If you are downtown in a good neighborhood, you don't see much of it. If you are on the outskirts, you deal with a lot of shit. Homeowners sometimes get citations for harassing the homeless by telling them to get off their lawn. Trespass means something different depending on your complexion.

ANTIFA are the champions of all this and their shelf life is limited. The complaints about journalists like Ngo are just a means to silence criticism of the enforced decay regime. Every time I hear something about Seattle, I just assume the reality is 10x worse. It will take a generation to solve the problems the City Council is implementing today, but I have no doubt these problems will be solved.

Just a hunch, but I'd argue that, on average, what we recognize as leftist activism gets encouraged, resulting in more of bottom of the barrel jumping in to get asspats.
