🐱 Andy Ngo to testify against Antifa, Internet calls it a clown show for letting 'a vile racist' brief the panel

Journalist Andy Ngo filed a lawsuit against far-left group Antifa on June 4 for waging a “campaign of terror and harassment” against him, just days after President Trump blamed them for inciting violence during anti-police protests. Ngo said he had been assaulted, stalked, threatened and robbed by members of the group in Portland, even suffering a brain hemorrhage after being assaulted in June 2019, according to The Washington Times.

"Antifa is an openly extremist movement with the training and intent of destabilizing this country and overthrowing our Constitution," Ngo had said during a live-streamed press conference. "The protection of foolish politicians and the media have emboldened this movement to carry out unprecedented terrorist attacks."

In the lawsuit filed at Multnomah County court in Oregon, Ngo sought at least $900,000 in damages for assault, battery, emotional distress and racketeering by those who acted to "suppress Ngo's journalism through intimidation and violence," and for "ongoing neurological and health issues." And now, Ngo is being brought in to testify against Antifa. People are rather struck with this strange turn of events and say that it doesn't make sense, saying this is a complete mockery. Ngo will be briefing the Oversight Committee on June 29.

"They seriously letting Andy Ngo testify? The guy who put together 'kill lists' for Atomwaffen?" a Twitter user noted. Another echoed this sentiment. "Andy ngo is best known for providing kill lists to atomwaffen and being a threat to our communities."

"Because we live in the stupidest timeline, sexual abuse enabler Jim Jordan has called grifter propagandist and fascist bootlicker Andy Ngo to congress to testify about the terrible, awful threat antifascism presents to the country. What a clown show," another wrote.

"Andy Ngo is a vile racist and fascist. This is scraping the barrel even lower than Candace Owens. No healthy society, least of all anything resembling a democracy, glorifies people like Andy," another person tweeted.

"Andy Ngo is the least trustworthy person to have for a briefing on antifa but I guess they were aware of that when they decided to have him, since they know he's just going to give the words they want to hear," another tweeted.

However, many others appeared to be interested in what Andy Ngo has to say. " Andy Ngo covers #Antifa violence. They've attacked him. Despite what the leftist Twitter Mob says, he is not a White Nationalist. Andy is an Asian-American. His parents came to the United States as refugees from Vietnam before he was born. I look forward to hearing from him," one wrote.

"What's wrong with Andy Ngo testifying? Antifa threw concrete milkshakes at him and punched him while he was doing his job. Oh, that's right. Everyone made him out to be nuts for warning people about Antifa. Get a grip," another journalist wrote.

He's not the right kind of minority for them to protect.
hes also a retard for filing a fucking lawsuit against "antifa" lmao

antifa isnt a formal organisation that you can take to court, it's an informal and loose association of like-minded activists. this is a clown move, it's like saying "i'm gonna take anonymous to court because 4chan raided my website" lol

Which is partially untrue because they are indeed funded by a third party.

I was just going to post this. Unless he is suing specific individuals.

That or Portland has an overt chapter of Antifa with public leadership...

If there is a third party funding them, that would leave some sort of paper trail to sue...

However, that organization may have been transient. It may not even exist anymore..

doesnt matter for this though
they aren't an actual organisation. you can take an NGO or corportation to court, you can even sue a local administration or government agency, but you can't sue a loose association of random activists with no formal ties to each other. it's like if you tried to sue the entire #metoo hashtag because some random person got you fired from your job with false accusations.

he can (could in theory at least) sue individual activists for harrassing or attacking him, and in theory a judge or persecutor could invoke some racketeering act to tie a handful of associated activists into the case like they often try to do with organized crime organisations, but that's it. and even that is a stretch, realistically absolutely nothing will come of this because you'd need a lot of very solid and very concrete evidence tying people to concrete and proven acts of crime, which i'm 99% sure mister ngo doesn't have.

All I smell here is fear. I do believe Andy Ngo has good info. Pretty sure Ngo had the individual's names that attacked him. And yep, he took donations for a lawsuit. Good of him to actually file something. edit: Since posting, I have been remembering the attack on Andy. It was a disgusting, vicious display. He was brutalized. And, I still feel really bad for him.

Gonna stop you right there. Yes, yes they are. There is the "grassroots" movement that makes up the bulk of the boots on the ground, sure, but there is also an organized core at the leadership level. Antifa originated in Germany and has a long operational history with an established leadership hierarchy structure training and providing resources to the local segments. The organization, not the movement, has legal bank accounts and property in Europe (and presumably the US too though I wouldn't be aware of where). All of this thanks to massive amounts of cash from all the dumbass rich people who give them money despite being the exact tier of folk who would wind up at the guillotine if Antifa had their way.

He's not suing "Antifa" as a whole, he's suing Rose City Antifa, a specific Portland-based organization that's aligned with the Antifa ideology and is part of the wider Torch Network and I think he's also named specific individuals in his lawsuit.

I'm in full support of Andy Ngo going after these motherfuckers, and if he's actually testifying against them in court in a different case in addition to his lawsuit against Rose City Antifa, then I think shit really is getting serious.

They're an organized enough group to have their own website for their Portland chapter.

The insistence that they're just a ragtag rough-and-tumble collective of activists not doin nuffin wrong is a Dem media narrative to make Trump look like a retard for calling them out.

It's a fucking organization no matter what they tell you.

It ain't easy suing Soros.

i'm not saying that, i'm saying that they are a deliberately informal network with minimal formal ties excactly because that makes them much harder to target using legal means.
it's not unlike a crime family. of course the thing is an organisation, but they keep everything behind closed doors and informal as much as possible to make legal action against them harder, exactly because they don't want people being able to take "gambetti crime family inc." to court.

The key difference between Rose City Antifa/Torch Network and the Gambino Crime Family in this case is the activist angle, since Antifa tries to present itself as a political activist movement and RCA as a specific activist group in that movement.

There's also the Torch Network, which exists openly as a coalition of Antifa activist groups.

Given how a lot of activist groups (especially left-wing ones) tend to file for non-profit status, I think there's enough grounds for a viable lawsuit since Andy Ngo is specifically going after Rose City Antifa and possibly specific named individuals within it as opposed to the wider Antifa movement as a whole.

Thankfully the autists of RCA actually have structure and he's suing them specifically.

I love that BIPOCs are only acceptable when they're obedient and following prog whitey's commands. 2020 slavedom dumped the whips but kept the public humiliation, how progressive.

Somehow in today's clownworld, a Vietnamese American can be a white nationalist. Just lump the Asians in with the Whites, they are all the same anyways (except China, those guys must be defended at all costs by the msm and leftwing retards).

Asians are PoC when it's convenient. Otherwise they're privileged somehow.

Good on Andy for filing the suit. These people are terrorists and need to be held accountable. What is worrying is if they have targeted him for just reporting on their actions, he is putting himself in real danger filing a suit.

The article quoted four random nobodies who are against him and two random nobodies who are supporting him. Nice balance there.

I wish Andy the best of luck. What they did to him and dozens others in the name of "anti-fascism" need to go down. Obviously he won't get everything but hopefully it's something.

You still believe that shit?
Remember bike lock guy? When /pol/ went full autismo on the vidya of that incident they found several handlers in the crowd and damn near rolled up BAMN's entire leadership cadre. These cells of commies all have an organized leadership structures that provide support to the boots on the ground but make sure not to get their hands dirty.
