I think Joe subcontiously knows that he's done with the Angry Reviews but he just can't let go. I can't fault him for being burned out from doing this shtick for 9 years but how he choses to handle this is getting sillier by the minute.

That means he is the worst of them all. He had so many cautionary tales in his sight, like that one about content creator, who'd tried to push his stuff no matter how awful it was (Doug Walker), and creator who disabled comments under his videos (Spoonster), but somehow he fucked up anyway.

This is kind of off topic, but I strongly doubt that Joe really follows Doug or Spoony all that closely, at least not the way we do. He probably has his own unique perspective on the situation.

Yes he does. Regular AdBlock doesn't work on Twitch and he gets a cut, and YT somehow converts live stream views into ad views after the fact.

The best comparison here might be DarkSydePhil: They're both so invested in making YT/Twitch their "job" that they just double down on it despite being bored at best/miserable at worst. Just look at Joe's posts & comments where he insults his viewers; it really does feel like something Phil would write.

Well, I can agree in Doug's case, 'cause he is relatively alright, but Spoony. Yes, they weren't so close, like with Brad or Walking fedora, but I doubt he never heard about how things turned out for him. Or maybe he thinks, that it's not about him, he is better and whatever. Though he said he will never turn down comments.

This. Someone like Del really should be off camera, editing videos or something. Look at Ryan from Cinemassacre. Most people didn't even know he even existed until last year. Del is simply not the sort of personality who can profit from being in front of a camera.

Seriously all of this could be solved if Joe simply made extra channels. Do you know why many big youtubers have a separated gaming channel or reaction channel? Because people like different things and that's why they watch different channels. If you want to watch a vlog you go here, if you want to watch games you go there, etc.

Joe is probably the only youtuber i know that throws all his garbage in his one single channel. People went for the game reviews but now they're forced to watch movie reviews, game of thrones weekly review, trailer reactions, rant videos, his twitch streams and someone's else mmorpg streams. Of course people are mad, they didn't sub for this shit.

All because Joe would rather alienate his fans and get fast money on his main channel, and if you don't watch you're an evil hater.

Ouch. It looks like his channel is still getting good viewership but subs have completely tanked. After the late 2013 spike there was the obligatory E3 spam, Delrith comes into the picture mid 2014, then there's a LOT of stream spamming. It was pretty bad before but this is around the time the game reviews started to go by the wayside in favor of regurgitation movie reviews, stream uploads, and more E3 spam. Then came the boring af board game videos, pointless rants, "trailer impressions" i.e. what are essentially reaction videos, and at one point FOUR movie reviews in a single month, then three reviews the next month. Notice the giant spike between July 2015 and January 2016 in both graphs? Hmmm....

Joe basically has a new fanbase of moviegoers and primetime television viewers and is slowly abandoning the people who give him MILLIONS of views on his better gaming videos like the reviews and top tens. Because he knows that covering tv and movies can be a lot less complicated than covering games. Games take time to learn the different aspects of and to get a feel for, to actually play through, writing a script etc., vs sitting on your ass for a couple hours then talking about what you saw.

I'm confused by the second graph. It says "total subs per month" but then shows the line going down to almost zero-k which is obviously not his total subs (almost 3 million). Is it the monthly gain of subs? If so I'm sure he doesn't care.
