Seems like his problems are related to the PC version. I been playing bit of it on Game Pass and its meh, glad it did come to game pass as I would not have spent $60 on this game. I might pick it up when it gets a good Steam discount.

I'm in no way saying it's a masterpiece. I just think he may have been blinded by the server issues so much he's looking for problems elsewhere and inventing them.

Joe got old without realizing it. He doesnt get the game because he has not played it. Pretty much the same boat I have been in. The only game I have played with any regularity for years now is Stellaris, and that is because I can imagine my own stories and act them out, pausing as needed and going for days at a time without progressing because I have to work for a living. Occassionally an RPG may come along that I can get really invested in, like Horizon Zero Dawn, but beyond that the gaming landscape is a field of infinite toys for people below my maturity level. I don't think playing a lot of games is a maturity thing more a time thing and the only maturity has to do with reviewers having the maturity of childs when the majority of gamers are adults who play when they can and what ever they want. Plus as an observation games haven't really matured because devs think gamers are stupid because westarn game journos are when they aren't then again one of the most mature games i've ever played Death Stranding succeded all over the world but america being a cult clasic here because American gamers aren't as good as forien gamers because of american games holding there hands. When a game like Death Stranding which is a perfection of a delivery simulator with a bit of metal gear solid 5 excellent stealth but with a twist americans didn't like it because the game says go there and how and what you did to get there was up to you and other players to indirrectly decide. That is all because the dirrector who is misunderstood wants gaming and the stories they tell to merge and mature into one adult complicated hands off mess that you must decide to do with. Game devs fear that because they want to hold your hand the whole way so you don't bitch and moan causing the game to bomb in America like Death Stranding did at first.

I think in Joe’s case, it’d just be wise if he just stopped talking about superheroes in general. It’s one think to continue to look like you have no idea what you’re talking about as far as politics are concerned, but to defend Marvel TV shows as an excuse to not care that much for your video game reviews show that’s he’s more of a commentator than an actual gamer.
