In fairness to his review, according everyone who isn't as culture war grifter, and even from some of the fairer anti-SJW types, the show is a solid average. Has potential but fucked up by a bit of bad writing here and there and some dumb occasional virtue signalling.
It doesn't explain him sperging out at spergs on Twitter though. If I was his business partners I'd tell him to juts pay a social media manager to do his tweets for him. (Slight power level: he kicked off on a long deleted Twitter account of mine when I pointed out that that Star Wars was never exactly a masterpiece when he was acting like the Disney sequels were the equivalent of burning down a gallery of fine arts.)
I understand why he's doing the virtue signalling though. In his original Angry Joe days he was frozen out of by a lot of the industry. One company took one of his Corporate Commander sketches as a threat of violence to their staff and was trying to get him deplatformed from events.
During the Gamergate weirdness he briefly tried to cuddle up to them only to be shocked by them calling a fat spic for disagreeing with one of their NPC opinion downloads.
Basically, he has to be a good corporate Democrat now as he IS part of the access media. He starts being a bit based or even vaguely Republican, even if t was the milquetoast of RHINO hot takes, then all those old ghosts will come back to haunt him and he'll be problematic again. He as to be seen to be on the danger haired side, even as he LARPs his toxic fan-lite personae.
TL;DR The cunt just needs to delete his Twitter
