Lmao good. But what confuses me is that most of these videos are already copyright claimed, meaning they can't make any money off of it anyway, so why the hell would demonetization matter? I'm guessing this would mean they don't get any more shekels from shilling the fuck out of Amino for 2/3 of a video barely under 2 minutes long.

Her animation memes are pretty much average quality as far as animation memes go with mostly sliding pictures and botched tweening aka barely any animation at all, and pretty much no interesting substance to the video at all.

So apparently the animation meme community is getting demonetized for reused content. This means that youtube hates memes and people should stop making them if they want to get monetization, or it's going to be seen as a duplicate.

Memes using the same movement, the same song in that movement, and there's no difference in the audio or visual, are considered duplicates by youtube standards.

So these animators need to stop being lazy and start producing some actual content if they want to be recognized by youtube.

I'm not sure if this counts as 'Animal Jam' animation meme but I remember seeing one that's recorded on a camcorder with some gameplay on it with only two players talking with some background music playing as if they were trying to make a story. It's more like a slideshow than animation.

I can definitely agree on this on like...90% of the animation memes out there, but there are a few, a rare few, that do put animating efforts into their memes -- but it's not enough to justify they are still memes. Those are the ones that I can see having potential of making their own content...if they can get away from the memes.

Youtube is basically pushing them to try for original content.

EDIT: This has nothing to do with this post, but it's part of the meme community so...I figured I'd show this. It is Scootaloo's video on how she feels about Sashley, a really young animator that uses scootaloo as an inspiration. Personally, I find this video to be trash.

I remember talking to some friends who really like them and I'm like...don't enable these kids and call them animators...

I get that some of them do it for fun and they want to protect them from cyberbullies; but these kids are straight up awful themselves and shouldn't have an online presence yet.

If there was one main thing I would recommend to some of these "animation memers" who actually aspire to do animation in the future, it would be figure studies. Doing figure studies from anything, from modeling classes to just looking at your surroundings and drawing them quickly, can help you get a grasp in movement and anatomy. It's obvious that some of these people don't do this and rather make the mistake of taking inspiration from their favorite artists (like Birdie) and simply never doing studies, causing them to miss out on a big chunk of learning anatomy and helping with fluency in their animations.

as an animation memer myself, i agree 100%. i do aspire to do legitimate animation as a job, and i usually go for a simplied, cartoony art style similar to birdie's (yes, i admit my art style is inspired by his). even with the cartoony art style, i do art style imitations on occasion to help me with my flexibility and anatomy. hell, my most recent completed drawing was an art style imitation of someone who's art style is much, much less cartoony than my own.
with animating, i do that less often than drawing, as its a much longer process. however, i can say im planning on doing it more often in the distant future. despite this, i can say that i almost always do frame by frame instead of tweening (which is the catagory the head bobbing falls into), though its mainly because my main editing software isnt good with tweening. thus, if i had the chance, i would probably try out tweening. im completely fine with sticking to frame by frame though.
