Truly the later chapters are really REALLY poorly scanned. A shame really. QP avoided that fate thankfully. It's also a lot darker than Crows and Worst
 
Stumbled upon some video about Speed Grapher and how there's a major plot point ridiculously similar to Epstein's whole debacle setting things in motion
this shit is crazy but i'm liking it so far
remember when studios would make their own anime instead of just adapting from manga?
just the look and feeling of the animation is taking me back
god, the switch to digital took away so much soul over time

Define good. If as in well-written, not really: it's okay, I guess. Is it a unique story you'll remember for the rest of your life? Absolutely.
If I had to compare it in terms of "What the fuck" I'd say Fire Punch, but that's on an entirely different level everywhere but the brutality and obscenity.

Having to track down the Ichi the Killer OVA was kind of a pain because for some reason, no one wants to remember it exists or something, and I don't think high quality rips exist anywhere. It's been ages since a series last made me squirm.
 
Another manga author has been revealed to be a predator. Despite the horrible acts he committed, the editorial department (or specifically, the editor in charge of him) kept giving him work and had been keeping his identity a secret as to not bring in controversy.

Fortunately, this has actually been causing quite a uproar for once. Multiple prolific manga artists/authors are suspending their serializations, expressing their disappointment and venting their frustrations with the industries handling of situations like this. I wonder what will happen from here
