Glad to see there still people who like/care about Fate Extra (even if i hated the anime version).
it's the first sign of the nasuverse's gargantuan fall but an actual battle royale being played mostly straight was interesting
still retarded that's how a space magic computer decided to give access to it

Crunchyroll got RAPED

Is anyone watching hell's paradise. I'm really enjoying it, it's fast paced and the power escalation is well paced and foreshadowed. It's fast paced and villains don't get multi episode backstories trying to make you feel for them. Another thing is that although there are a couple of main characters, since its so fast paced a lot of the cast does die.
Pretty good imo,
Watching the second season. It looked like a battle royale, but becomes a shonen. There are some cool ideas but it's pretty ass how it's either lots of talking or fights that midway through has a flashback on someone making a strategy against an enemy he magically knows he is going to fight and does exactly that. Then halfway it has a really retarded magic system that half the cast gets adept at due to plot reasons.

When aren't they? Releasing entire episodes a week early by mistake, releasing incomplete episodes, the fucking trash subs, the fucking NIGGER TIER jewtube videos... They ate the remnants of Funimation, and are thus just as cancerous. They gotta go. Why the japs don't just release things themselves, translate things themselves, and cut out the judeo-american middlemenn entirely is quite baffling. They'd make more money too... oh well.

Eh the only ones that were suddenly good, were the ninjas that could magically set himself on fire, and the slimy bitch. The blind samurai who could "see" was also good at it. The only exception is big tits samurai girl, who is said to be good but there hasn't been much action on her end. The other characters barely got the hang of it. Imo its simplicity helps a lot, the story is not complicated its just dumb fun.

The anime was fucking stupid, as was the Manga. The Mushroom's brilliant idea of making an entire story around a bad ending that doesn't exist. And expecting people to already know everything about the plot of a PSP game from damn near a decade earlier. Instead, just adapt the anime, use Nero (or Tamamo to push Foxtail) and do the Cannibal Clown route since more people have seen Apocrypha than ever read Tsukihime

What did he mean by this?
He's just an intensely edgy character, often times to a laughable or cringe worthy degree. Not to say the story doesn't do it's damndest to have that make sense for his character, but it's still a bit much for my tastes. Being stuck in his head for the Reversion on the Far Side is kino, and at the same time very hammed up.

Haven't played or watched anything in the Fate franchise apart from the original VN, its Ufotable adaptations, and the Fate Zero anime. I got told that liking the franchise meant you had bad taste.

This season's animation is better, but as a series it isn't living up to the hype.
I'm not good at explaining this kind of stuff, but the story beats just aren't hitting like a JJK, gachiakuta, FireForce, etc.

At first it came off as a show filled with mystery over everything, the island they were on, the monsters on the Island, the backstory of the criminals, the Asaemon, and the Shogunate, the Tensen, Tao, and on top of all of that, how the fuck they were going to survive the place.
Whole bunch of complicated shit that seemed really interesting, all of that on top of a very visually appealing art style and location.

What we got though was some decent fights, and then just way too much background info on characters who weren't super interesting, in a show that was way too short for everything it has going on.
It went from "Tensen are godlike beings who've trained for a thousand years and should be avoided at all costs" to "The characters have learned their entire power system and are now beating them on their home turf".

The show was just too short for everything it crammed in to the story, and it would have benefitted greatly from a much slower pace. Personally I feel where we're at currently should be a 3rd season part rather than a 2nd season.

Chainsaw man ended. I'm kinda bummed because I was a fan of fire punch and that went off the rails, this just felt like editor meddling. Part 2 felt like a huge build up to a long dream out fight that was solved by completely unrelated actions. A bunch of plot threads left untouched, with an ending that wraps it up in a way where it doesn't matter anyways.
