No. No it fucking isn't up to the fans, you stupid cunt. The creator decides the flow of the story, not the fans. Too many creators have been influenced/pressured into giving into fan outcry that it's given these people a complex at this point, to where if a story or character doesn't canonically go the way they want, they have nuclear meltdowns.
Fuck these people. They're not even fans, they're parasites. Expunge them from creative spaces and never give them the time of day.
This guy doesn't respect the most basic principles of art or writing. What the author says, goes. If the author doesn't say something visually or textually, there's one of three reasons for it. One, the author intentionally left it blank for the reader to fill in. Two, the author didn't feel that it was important enough to elaborate on. Three, the author just wasn't thinking that deeply. To act like the artist and/or writer should just shit out pretty images for the viewers to masturbate up a story to, is to say that they should basically be a corporate slave for your whims, and yours alone. You'd kill entire industries if you were able to enforce that. The absolute narcissism. This is the exact mentality you see with god awful translators, your 4kids, your JelloApocalypses, your Jeremy Blausteins and Funimation wagies.
Honestly, this almost reads as pure parody and some mentally unwell SEAnigger (they're from Thailand) spending their waking hours shitting up twitter like they do 4chan. Even if they are real, I have no idea how they get any attention whatsoever. The only logical response to this kinda shit is to ignore it. They're very clearly fucking insane.
It is frustrating though, Gachiakuta is a great manga and I hope that the manga doesn't suffer because of this shit and that Urana doesn't lose her desire to continue making it in the way she wants to make it. Skimming through the latest One Piece chapter, seeing yet another flashback start made me groan. Place your bets on how many chapters this one will last.
I know that One Piece has always had flashbacks, but they seem to be dialed up to eleven as of the last few arcs. Can we please drop the ten chapter long back stories and skip back to the present to move the current story forward?
I missed out on the big 3 discussion, but I just want to be honest with myself and admit that after One Piece fell apart for me post-timeskip, the only reason I’ve kept up with it weekly is Mihawk (and to avoid spoilers from the rabid fanbase). I just want to know what was the “great betrayal” Mihawk went through and why he despised the Marines enough to become a Marine-hunter back in the day.

The same people hassling Urana are also a lot of the same ones expressing anger and disbelief that she quit Twitter, "She owes us engagement!", no she or any other creator doesn't you pack of slavering they/thems. You've been seeing a lot of this in recent times, there are fandom cultures whose members see the existence of the creators of the works they are "fans" of as a drag and an annoying obstacle to the "fandom social experience", which is the only thing they value. Creators become people who have an OBLIGATION to give "the fanbase" what it wants. And if they don't? The "Fans" go on the attack. This often results in ginned up moral outrages that justify "claiming" the works from the creators, or claiming that "we're the reason their work is a success!", in this case, hoodweebs and such claiming they're the reason why Gachiakuta even enjoyed any sort of success in the west, as well as people like this jerkoff, who I've seen around on X enthusiastically bootlicking the worst localizers and American dubs, saying "hey, all of us anime fans are at fault here",
Anime fans, especially leftist ones, could be annoying back in the Aughts and the 2010s but they were never this bad, or at quite these levels of tiresome and inane self-righteousness
I thought it was painfully stupid when Main Character flashbacked to the time it took him 15 min to realize that he was sent on the worlds most obvious suicide mission and then was shocked when he was sentenced by the people that sent him on that mission to be an immortal doomed to do suicide missions.

The guy was an incredibly well respected and successful person living a great life, lost all of that in an instant because he was put into a no win situation that was in no way his fault (and in all likelihood was a setup to fuck him over and extinguish his rising star specifically), and now he has to work with a bunch of crazies and psychopaths doing shit work while being treated as less than human by a bunch of callous wasteful jackasses, and all the while not only is the sweet release of death denied to him in all its forms but if he dies and is revived he slowly loses a part of his personality every time, becoming more and more of a stranger to himself, until finally he suffers total ego death and ceases to even be a human as he reverts into an empty shell that knows only conflict and the basic of all instincts.

Which is why even when social media wasn't a thing they never did. Toriyama was famously so disinterested in the fanbase and anime that he never engaged beyond mandatory interviews and didn't like Goku's portrayal. Miura never heeded the complaints about The Boat because he was living his best life playing Idol Master. It's when you engage or try to justify like this lady or even Nasu following Last Encore that you lose and will always lose
Bleach's DNA is in every post 2010-shonen manga. It probably turned out the best out of the three pillars just by simple virtue that it ended and instead of milking it right away, the author chose to fix the last arc (in the anime).
The other two also have caveats.
- Naruto is good for what it is but then there's Boruto which I can't say definitively is bad (I'm too old to care about it and it looks ugly) but I have heard mixed things.
- One Piece is good but it's extremely long no matter what approach you try to take.
You can read Bleach in 2 weeks and the anime in a couple months if you're employed. Subjective taste about writing aside, there's cool scenes, cool fights, and cool characters..that's really all you need. It also objectively has the best soundtrack which is a cheat code because it's the Evangelion guy but a win is a win.

Which is fine if you assume he was holding the idiot ball for his entire adult life and did not know that the military leadership, including the weird cultists, are sketchy and duplicitous as fuck. In a well written setting he would have known the caliber of the people he was serving under from rumors at least and not have been completely blind sided. He would have been serving anyway as they are the only military force that can stand up to the zombies but there's no plausible universe where he is literally the first person fucked over like this (although his fucking over was spectacular in that they were sacrificing one of their old-tech loli wizards as part of it)
Hell, they were fucking over people in the episode or two before this flashback, I as the audience have to assume that everyone in this military knows they will be killed in stupid fuck-fuck games and serves anyway.
