Post what animes you'd like to see a sequel to. Feel free to also post why you think they should have sequels.

My top 3:
  1. M.D. Geist (in this case it'd be a third one)
  2. Blue Comet Layzner
  3. Metal Armor Dragonar

Anime is for gay virgin alt-right faggot weebs.

I really want to say Kill la Kill, but there's really nothing for it to do, except try to stretch the extra OVA episode out into a season/movie.

Panty and stocking's
need the conclusion*sigh*
The only problem is Gainax holds the rights to PSG, but a lot of the talent from PSG moved over to Trigger. Unless they partnered up, it wouldn't be the same.

all i want is jojo part 5, even though i've already read all of the parts (except 8 )

It's all but confirmed at this point.

I'm honestly tired of this nostalgia bandwagon anime and manga creators have been jumping on this past decade, some of them just seem really unnecessary. But if I had to choose, Vision of Escaflowne I think could use a sequel. It was originally slated for about 39 episodes, but it got cut to 26 mid-production, so whatever ideas they had going for it had to be scrapped/hastily resolved, and I think most of that was what went into the manga, which is completely different from what the anime is. Sadly, though, the anime is all but forgotten in Japan at this point, so unless Sunrise decides they want to appeal to overseas audiences (lol), it's not happening.

I didn't care for it, personally, but Elfen Lied needs a reboot. And get a different studio to work on it, Studio Arms is just trash.

And for the hell of it, bring back Vampire Hunter D if at least for one movie.

I'm going to second @Kari Kamiya on the idea of a sequel or remake of Vision of Escaflowne. Hell, I even liked the shitty short-lived Fox Kids dub of it back in the late 90's/early 2000's.

I'd also like to see Black Lagoon get another season or OVA series.

High School of the Dead would've been great to see finished, but with that franchise's creator dead, we won't even see the manga completed unless somebody can resume the series.

And on the topic of old kid's anime from the late 1990's and early 2000's that could use a sequel, reboot, or remake, I would like to nominate both Flint The Time Detective and Monster Rancher.

While not technically anime, I'm surprised nobody's done a modern remake of Robotech like they did with Voltron.

Madoka Magica, more specifically a sequel the third movie cause while I do kinda like most of it, I would prefer if gave us an ending that was well actually satisfying. I know there's supposed to be some concept movie, but it's been about 2 years since we last heard about it sooo, I'm a little skeptical if it's actually going to happen.

While not a sequel I would appreciate it if Bones pulled another FMAB and remade Soul Eater making it closer to the manga. Even if they barely do anything to fix the manga's ending, it'll still probably be better than the anime's ending.

Anything else I want is either already confirmed like One Punch Man season 2, Index season 3, and hopefully JoJo part 5, or is currently going on now like DBS (even if it's ending/going on hiatus after March), Saiki K season 2, and of course CCS Clear Card.

Battling Seizure Robots

On a serious note, I would love to see Zetsubou Sensei get another season to wrap up what was revealed to be a series-wide mindfuck.
