Careercow Anthony Cumia - A once successful radio host crashes and burns, turning on all his fans and the drama around it

I do agree. Yes Opie rubs me the wrong way with his bitterness in how everything ended, but at least I’ll give him this in that he’s not a ghoul like Anthony has become. I just wish he wouldn’t give Ant the time of day and ignore questions about him.

At least his bitterness is justified. Ant and Jimmy's are all self inflicted. All Opie wanted to do was run a successful show, and he had these two dopes trying to get him to quit. Now look at all of them. Not a single worthwhile job between the three since the breakup. All because of Jim and Anthony. Could Opie get annoying? Yeah, but so did the cavalcade of comedians, Jim, and Anthony, who would constantly yell and interrupt. The only person in the room who wanted to make it listenable is the one called annoying.

Not as hilariously depressing as the views for Opie's and Jim's videos. @CapricornusRex is dead on that Ant and Jim tanked a good thing and now all of them are has-beens.
plus, imo, Jim is only really funny when he's a third wheel and has someone to bounce off of. When he does stand up he's incredibly unfunny. In fact I've seen three of his stand ups and at least two of them are some of the worst I've ever seen.

It's so weird because Jim is really funny when he gets angry and starts ranting, and he could do a show like this, but instead he has to be a worm.

its really hard to be funny AND angry at the same time, usually you pull your resources into one or the other and the side left empty forgets how to work the other.

It's a timing thing. You have to be quick and it can't last too long. Jim actually understands this while Ant never did. The issue is Jim sits there and does nothing unless it's Anthony Cumia or a celebrity he wants an autograph from or a picture with.

It's because Jim got bullied by Florentine, and Vos when he was still a Jersey hack (Still is), then when he got in to the NYC clubs, he was bullied by Colin, and Patrice, and Burr, and Keith and everyone else in The Cellar because Jim's 4'8. If he wasn't quick to deflect on to others he got chewed up relentlessly all night. Ant never had to deal with it, instead everyone told him how funny and smart he is, when he was occasionally funny, and not very smart. When listening back, a lot of Ant's funny is him piggy backing off someone else. He did a lot of "hole" like things like repeat other people's funny lines and laugh.

When they got to XM, when Jim even showed up, he would spend most of the show on a laptop writing his book. Opie saved his job when he 100% should have been fired before the last terrestrial run that essentially killed the show.

I also think Opie should have been direct with both saying cut the shit you two you’re fucking up a good thing. I get not wanting to get into conflicts all the time but some things need to give before they come to a head.

Imagine if he knew how inept Jim and Ant would be, and he did confront them and they bailed. The salt we could mine off those two having to admit they need Opie.

Make it listenable by breaking up great bits with “WAIT WAIT WAIT” instant feedback garbage and fucking retard callers. As if he hasn’t put out shit tier unwatchable “podcasts” for the last 15 years. Opie defenders see a little too much of his need to be liked in themselves.

Jim's standup is not only bad but it's also really dumb. It was just crass without a point and feels like an early embarrassing set that an older comic would look back on with shame.

Opie The Destroyer, is the one who wants to be liked? Really? That's gotta be the most pathetic thing I have seen someone say about Opie in awhile. Jim constantly injecting his retarded characters in to everything isn't any better than Opie making a room full of mouth breathing half wits stop yelling over each other so he can get a point across. Jim and Anthony literally LIVED on instant feedback and Paltalk. Anytime you heard some witty joke that didn't come from a movie made in the 80s and 90s was stolen from instant feedback or Paltalk. Once in awhile Ant or Jim would give the person credit if it was a frequent flyer, but most of the time they stole that shit.

You gonna sit here and tell me you watch any of Jim or Anthony's podcasts in the last 15 years? Really? They all suck dick alone and Jim & Ant can't last more than a day without needing help.

Just my opinion, but his character interjection sucks now more than ever because all he does is Chip. Chip stinks.

He's more or less abandoned Uncle Paul, Ted Sheckler, Edgar Mellencamp, Frunkis, Boardroom Jimmy, Coach Jimmy, Steve from Yellowstone, Marmalade Sally, etc. All of them were funnier than Chip.

I wouldn't put it beyond Jim that Chip is his alpha multiple personality. He refers to chip in the third person when talking about decisions "chip" made and it's his conduit for all his unfunny jokes he wants to make but not get humiliated for.

Or maybe Chip created Jimmy to protect him against monster rain and his early stand up career.
