I'd love to see the reactions if the government starts rounding up arsonists, or especially if any of them start catching bullets. Just imagine the parallels to Kyle Rittenhouse, Defender of the Dealership.

I think this is more of a bellweather in the culture wars than most people seem to realize. For years now the business world has gone woke and left in large part because the Left had convinced them that they have the power to destroy their business if they do not toe the line. Now that this aura of control is falling away with Trump 2.0 these attacks on Telsa are a hail satan last ditch move to show the world they actually do have the power to act against a business leader who opposes them. If they succeed in breaking Tesla then we risk sliding back on progress since this election and the Left may mantain it hold as the undisputed institutional masters of business and culture. If they fail on the other hand then the bluesky former blue checkmarks who have so long styled themselves as gatekeepers of all that is proper in society will be exposed as powerless we will be able to break completely free. Corpo wokedom while probably not completely eliminated will be broken and never have quite the same status it once did. That is why they are so desperate, and why everybody else should be paying attention too. This is make or break.

While Tesla owners are usually insufferable techbros or jeets and the cars themselves are overpriced anti consumer junk, you can't just harass people for what they drive and then wonder why the public is sick of your bullshit. Eugene couple’s Tesla vehicles vandalized with spray paint
EUGENE, Ore. – Across the country, people are protesting Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency. Musk is the CEO of Tesla, and that has led to the vandalism of dealerships and Teslas everywhere – even in a quiet Eugene neighborhood.
In the morning of March 20, a couple living on Fairmount Boulevard near Hendricks Park in Eugene woke up to find that their Tesla vehicles had been vandalized and spray-painted with the words “divest” and “depose.” The couple, who requested anonymity to protect their safety, said a camera on their property caught a person in concealing clothing approaching the vehicles before dawn that morning. The couple said they are frightened and confused after the incident.
"Whoever came, they came in the middle of the night, they had a backpack, they were prepared. It could have happened to anybody and now I feel very unsure of where we're at,” one said. “Before, I felt like I could leave my front door open, and now I feel a little bit unsecure about that."
The vandalism in Eugene is part of a nationwide trend of vandalism and attacks affecting Tesla dealerships and owners. In February, a woman was charged with throwing Molotov cocktails and spray painting a Tesla dealership in Colorado, and earlier in March, police investigated gunshots fired at a Tesla dealership in Tigard. Peaceful protests have also been held at many Tesla locations, where demonstrators have voiced their opposition to Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, and the Department of Government Efficiency that he leads.
Back in Eugene, the couple said there has been a rise in people being aggressive to them on the road even before the vandalism. The couple said they’re frustrated with the vandalism, and that it’s cost them significant time, money, and emotional damage.
“This is really unfortunate that someone feels they need to vandalize and cost somebody time and money,” one said. “I feel very violated, we’re regular people, we live and work in this community, we contribute to community service.”
The couple said the vehicles are being fixed, but they had to take them all the way to Portland because their insurance company advised them to keep them away from Eugene. Even after the vandalism, they said they’re happy with their Tesla vehicles and are planning to keep them.
The Eugene Police Department said an investigation is underway for the vandalism, and the perpetrator could face charges of criminal mischief. Eugene police said only one other incident involving a Tesla owner that occurred because of the vehicle has been reported since January, in which a person spat on a Tesla in a parking lot. Police said that in that incident, no charges were filed after the suspect apologized.

Texarkana man arrested for damaging Tesla with mini four-wheeler, police say

According to the Texarkana Police Department, officers received a report from the Golden Palace on Summerhill Road where surveillance footage captured a man on a mini four-wheeler intentionally ramming a parked Tesla at full speed.
Officials said that officers were searching for the suspect while another report came in regarding damage to a Tesla in the Lowe’s parking lot.
Shortly after, officers spotted the suspect riding the four-wheeler near Summerhill and New Boston Road. After officers stopped the suspect, he initially gave a false name but officers quickly identified him as Demarkeyun Marquize Cox, 33 of Texarkana, was arrested and booked into the Bi-State Jail in Bowie County.
After Cox was arrested, another person reported damage to their Tesla at Genesis Prime Care on College Drive. Cox is currently charged with one count of criminal mischief and failure to identify with a bond totaling $105,000.
“Officers are working now to figure out if Cox is responsible for the two later incidents,” Texarkana PD said. “If they determine he is, additional charges may be filed.”
