AOC floats Trump impeachment over Iran strikes​

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Saturday floated the prospect of impeaching President Trump for striking Iran without explicit authorization from Congress.

Why it matters: It's a shocking declaration by one of House Democrats' most high-profile progressives at a time when most in the party are instinctively rejecting the mere mention of impeachment.
  • Considerable intra-party scorn has been heaped on Reps. Shri Thanedar (D-Mich.) and Al Green (D-Texas) for floating votes on impeaching Trump.
  • A White House spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Driving the news: "The President's disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers," Ocasio-Cortez posted on X.
  • "He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations," she wrote. "It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment."
  • "More soon," Ocasio-Cortez's reelection campaign wrote in a fundraising email obtained by Axios.
Zoom out: The call for impeachment puts Ocasio-Cortez on the far end of Democrats' spectrum of responses, but it reflects the broad anger with which the party has reacted to Trump's unilateral actions.
  • Trump "failed to seek congressional authorization for the use of military force and risks American entanglement in a potentially disastrous war in the Middle East," House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) said in a statement.
  • He added: "Donald Trump shoulders complete and total responsibility for any adverse consequences that flow from his unilateral military action."

You can say a lot about the faults of AOC, but calling her fat like human Jigsaw Laura Loomer did is objectively untrue.

Guys, look at Pelosi, Feinstein, Waters...fuck, they're mummies. They're literally kept alive by (well, Feinstein bounced a check) infant blood, Stem Cell treatments, and organ trafficking that'd make Xi blush. The point of this is that AOC will probably live past 100, and spend it in the halls of congress.

I mean, imagine this faux spic bitch at age 100 and still gargling along like Emperor Palpatine, threatening to impeach Barron Trump's grandson.

a) trump hasn't yet gotten us into another war. and the midterms are still a year and 5 months away. plenty of time for Trump to regain them.
b) The dems are too busy with purity spirals around being the most progressive, sending more money to the party elites, and burning money to figure out why people don't like them. Their only platform will be "Trump bad" and various lies and half truths they scream about him. If the left were going to go after the politically homeless, they would have done so by now.

We were engaged in the Northwest Indian Wars before there was even a U.S. Constitution, much less a Congressional OK. For a while there we didn't even have a U.S. Army to speak of and we were still at war.

They're also busy eating their own propaganda that Trump's approval is cratering when no such thing is happening. Which will only encourage them to continue with the riots, the lawfare, the shielding of illegal immigrant criminals, etc etc etc... Against that backdrop? They aren't winning over anyone they didn't already have with performative concern about war and Medicaid.


But they still believe there's tons of "Disillusioned Trump Voters" out there who will come to their side just like the "Modern Audience" did for movies and games.....

There's really no difference between AOC and your average OF thot.

Both are useless idiots whose livelihoods depend on fleecing retards out of their money. (The voters in APC's case, the paypigs in the OF whore's case.)

This latest stunt from Sandy Cortez will accomplish nothing as usual, but it will make her feel important. In the end, that's all that matters to her.
