Apple Thread - What's your favorite apple?

So I used to think Honey Crisp was the best, but I just tried an Empire apple today, and it was pretty fucking good.
What about the rest of you?

Cripps Pink also known as Pink Lady are my favorite variety. Sweet tasting and always very juicy.

Pink lady has a nice balance of sweet and tart.

As an apple aficionado and a tried and true apple boy, Pink Lady is my favorite type of apple. Though, gala and honey crisp are good as well. If you want a really good apple, buy them locally and during the fall.

Whoever made the Delicious cultivars should be sued posthumously for false advertising. They look alright but man, they seem to have the consistency of sand.

And yes, I know, my favorite that I just mentioned is a Delicious hybrid. I was only being partially facetious with my katana allegory, katanas were good swords (Not totally awesome like weebs make them out to be, but they served their purpose) made of garbage iron just like Ambrosias are hybrids of garbage cultivars.

They were delicious, 80 years ago before grocery stores wanted a perfectly pretty apple and farmers bred all the flavor out trying to get that.

I like scifresh/jazz and honeycrisp apples best but in reality I eat whatever's on sale.

Honey Crisp, Jazz, Rome, Envy, and Granny Smith. I feel kind of guilty for Red Delicious apples because most people don't like them.
A special shoutout goes to Mcintosh. It's so strong and soft.
