buddy each one of those is a full clip, you can carry much more energy ammo (per damage) than any other weapon.

you could have like 700 shots of Equalizer on you easily.

You are right on that. I mistaken the 5 energy clips for the equivalent of 5 bullets.

That being said. I don't really see any results using them in taking down threatening Arcs that the Anvil and Hullbreaker do a good job at. Maybe I just haven't found the right use for them. Aphelion sucks from using it, Jupiter needs a proper scope for it like the Osprey and the Equalizer needs to be constantly lined up with enemies that don't imminently fire back at you to do proper damage which if it isn't a Queen or Matriarch, otherwise you will have to take cover and move constantly if you are against a Rocketeer, Bombardier or Bastion.

Also holy fuck I wish we can just wait for a full timed match rather than join in that's already in progress. It's annoying if you have keys and if you are doing trails.
 
Jupiter pierces everything till it hits terrain so you can hit every part of the Arc.

Queen/matriarchs legs break based off the number of heavy hits not damage so equaiozer shreds them off.

Every faggot runs and destroys the queen or the matriarch before you even have a chance to throw a pebble at it.

They really need to respawn the event bosses. It's ridiculous. Especially with late spawns.

you don't have the charisma, I come kitted and just get a posse' together to farm it.
 
after almost a full year i booted this game up because it's made by THE FINALS people which 1) was the last game I truly found fun and 2) means it runs on Arch.

It does run on Arch, excellently.

If you're new to the game I recommend playing until you get frustrated. Then, start killing people. Going into the game with free gear and killing some dude kitted out with a billion dollars of bling is like heroin.

this is the most important tip btw. Once you've figured out how to kill people go find big events about killing the archmother or whatever the fuck. big robot spider. kill the guys trying to fight it. they have mics and they will scream.

I heard they do matchmaking by aggression, i.e. if you dont kill people you get matched with people who dont kill players so it could be a strat to be a pacifist to get into the pacifist lobbies and then just clearing them out

yeah there's literally no point trying to build real weapons and play the 'pve' game, just get free inventories and kill people.

I might spoil your enjoyment of the game by revealing this dark knowledge to you: but there is aggression based matchmaking. So if you die a bunch without dealing any damage to other players, then you get matched into the lobbies where nobody shoots anyone else 95% of the time. It takes around 10 matches of dying without damaging anyone else to get into these lobbies. Then if you start killing people, you pretty much instantly get kicked out, and placed into the kill on sight active shooter simulator lobbies.

So, basically you can exploit this to get into pve-style lobbies and murder them. It's kind of funny.

The game got way too popular for its own good. Normgroids everywhere tuned in and most of them don't seem to understand the point of extraction shooters, so they cope to the extreme every time they die.

I do find it amusingly stupid that the aggression matchmaking system acts like the UK does in regards to self defense where if you fire back at your attacker then you are just as bad as them.

Also funny griefing bug still has not been fixed. Or maybe it's new. I don't know the devs are horrible in fixing broken shit and end up breaking more like with Stella Montis currently where in the Lobby, the wall next to the bottom floor security door placement's fucked.


Block out extractions with this one neat trick that PVErs hate!
 
Null is right, you guys are wrong, the funnest part is killing people, ruining their shit, and just causing mass chaos.

people in Stella or elsewhere trying to kill a Bastion? help the Bastion, kill them, use flame nades to force them out of positions of they get gunned down by the bastion, just be a complete and total villain, then plant mines under their corpses, plant gas mines everywhere , wait at the last gas mine and kill the guy going to shoot it, use 50 barricades to block off extracts, go into friendly lobbies where they all stand around slapdicking and throw Trailblazers into the group, double back around and claim you've found the "rat" and lead them into the pit of mines.

I need to pick this up. I've been watching my buddy play on xbox for the last couple of weeks, and it looks ridiculously fun.
