Anyways I already made it clear The speedrunning I view as cool wasn't the leaderboard shit but the stuff where a bunch of friends would be chilling playing games together on livestream and just zooping through shit while bandering with each other isntead of like going through long segments to then get some frame perfect thing to get a better score at the end. Like the kind of shit that one of the guys that made the original sonic talked about in interviews with when they used to play Mario Bros. and kept trying to get through stage 1 faster each time he played. being able to focus on that kind of stuff while bantering with friends is the kind of thing I admire.
