Are You Afraid of The Dark? - I wanna celebrate and show love to one of the few good things Canada has ever given the world, and that is this cheesy ass 90s kids horror anthology series. Thanks Canada!

No, the doll I remember the most wasn't a girl, it was some doll with like blonde or white hair. Upon further thought I don't think the episode was ABOUT the dolls/doll? they were like important, but other shit happened.
That's the one with room in the basement where creepy ass things came of when music was playing.

My favorite episode was the one with the witch or whatever she was who would turn pretty teenage girls into wolves and she would kill them and drink their blood or something to retain her youth. Eerie, Indiana was also one of my favorites, sadly, I don't remember any episodes. Goosebumps disappointed me with their inaccurate Slappy.

What is so hard about getting a Black Slappy?
I'll give the 90s show a pass because it's cheaply made and they probably weren't picky about their dummies.
But that shitty Jack Black movie had a choice to not whitewash Slappy.

It was family tradition to gather round and watch Are You Afraid of the Dark together. It would also be when my mom would cut our hair. I have a distinct memory of watching the clown one sitting on a stool while my mom gave her trademark bowl cut to us. I really wish we had those kind of anthology shows like this, Goosebumps, and Beyond Belief again.

I'm finna need some context for this one.
Submitted for your approval.
We were poor and couldn't afford haircuts. It was also a time that we had already set aside to spend together, so it was the perfect time to get a haircut since we were already all there. We were young, so I think putting the stool in front of the TV to distract us helped my mom because we were focused on something and less likely to move around. It didn't happen every week, but it would be on when we got them

I forget sometimes there's a racial barrier between us.
