So I was checking out what this insane concept of "Minor Mature Consent" or something that's in British Columbia and apparently Tennessee and elsewhere. Found an "ethicist" tfrom 2019 arguing that children should "have the right" to get vaccines without their parents' consent.
Remember: always phrase the removal or infringement of personal rights as the bestowal of rights.
Anyway, tl;dr I searched some youtube vids and came across this:
It lends the implication that being concerned or cautious (hesitant) about vaccines--the Covid vaccines in particular--is some kind of broader dangerous pathology. I suppose it's better than just calling everything that's not sucking off the jab "anti-vax" but still, this is shady. Instead of simply saying something like "Consult your doctor" it's just an emotional play crying about sickness and death, like your personal hesitancy is somehow killing other people. Talk about pathology.
Note that this was below Covid vaccine videos regarding people being cautious of the Covid vax.
Part of Youtube's incestuous relationships with "fact checking" sites, I thought. But it doesn't lead to a Wiki article. Rather, to a CDC page touting the benefits of vaccinations in general. It's succinct, informative and only mildly pandering. Nice! Well, mostly. Two major issues here. The first:
This is RETARDED. The vast majority of doctors I have ever heard from or spoken to pre-Covid have all warned against getting vaccinated while pregnant specifically because so many things can go wrong so fast and not every person has the same genetics/health, so if you won the genetic lottery of getting a bad reaction to a vaccine, and it's while you're pregnant, it will often lead to horrible consequences. It's also why doctors recommend taking it easy, not doing anything strenuous, taking care not to get sick, being mindful of what you eat, etc. You don't gamble even on 1/1 Million odds while pregnant.
More importantly though is this bit earlier:
So let's get this straight: Youtube is lumping caution about the Covid vaccine in with broader "vaccine hesitancy" in its little fact checking blurbs beneath certain videos. Those blurbs link to the CDC where they inform and reassure people regarding the benefit and safety of vaccination.
One of these reassurances is the fact that vaccines are carefully tested for years to ensure safety.
This is what's linked beneath videos specifically about the Covid vaccine--reassurances that vaccines are overall safe since they have
years of careful testing before approval. The Covid vaccine.
More irritating to me is that not just Youtube but so many videos and articles are lumping Covid vaccine caution in with vaccine caution overall, and they always go back to the Flu and Polio vaccine--nevermind that they ignore the stark difference between the perfectly effective and safe Salk vaccine and the far less so oral Polio vaccine, since they only ever talk about the Salk one.
They keep bringing up the Polio vax to alleviate concern about vaccinations in general to hand-wave concern about the Covid vaccines. Then Youtube's blurb about the danger of "vaccine hesitancy" beneath these vids links to the CDC reassurances of the safety of vaccines because vaccines aren't approved without years of careful testing.
These retards really believe they're doing the right thing with this kind of layered obfuscation.
