Trump is the only politician in the Anglophone world who answers questions directly, it's kinda sad that this is all it takes for a politician to seem revolutionary to us, but it's the truth. Political English has become this hideously indirect, Smoke and Mirrors type language that feels so inauthentic.

You're talking about something else. What I'm specifically talking about is the aforementioned claim that Trump is a con man, yet is somehow a bad speaker. Typically, a sly, conniving person who cons/persuades other people into doing something has silver tongue of sorts and as a result, a good speaker.
