won't happen. they may restrict new purchases, it's happened before. they may get more serious about background checks, require insurance, a safe. we might be like, say, Ireland or Canada.

Nobody will be going door-to-door looking. I have no worry about that.

The only way you'll disarm a spree killers/mass shooter is literally go door to door and take away the guns. People In Japan and Germany are generally compliant. people in other countries aren't compliant.

Second I don't know if you have lived in Brazil they're are plenty of police in the country in fact Brazilian police make American police seem like boy scouts. Coming from Mexico personally living in both Monterrey and North Texas the safety is night and day. In Texas the police aren't as intense as they are in Mexico. It's not we have an issue of "cops on patrol" or were just a "shithole" country. It's that retards like you think if we disarm people we will never have criminal organizations or governments who won't just ignore the laws and punish people for criticizing the government.

Democracies don't mean shit unless you can have a civilians that have an active ability to keep their government in check in some form. small arms in the hands of civilians are a good form to keep that in check. Unfortunately the downside is we have psychos that go specially to "gun free zones" to massacre people because armed targets shoot back.

How and where do they patrol? In Rio de janeiro alone there's a massive shantytown where traffic is scarce and difficult, hell even for the police.
