Are you getting the vaccine? - Absolute trashfire thread, please enter with caution

The same people defaming Nicki Minaj, saying that "young people shouldn't be so influenced by her!" are now the same ones telling kids to listen to a cartoon baby voiced by some faggot.

Don't get me wrong, I wish that pop culture and celebrities didn't hold so much influence on people either way ... But it couldn't be more obvious how disingenuous and hypocritical the left is being over Nicki Minaj right now. Amazing.

I've said it once, I'll say it again: In the good old days, actors were deemed so low on the social ladder, they weren't even allowed to get a Christian burial on a church cemetery. We should go back to these days. The Trump election and the resulting, half-decade fallout of "stars" throwing in their two cents and huffing their own farts was bad enough already. It can only get worse from here on out.

Get an antibody test when you get the chance.

It really cemented my view on COVID when I realized the supposed apocalyptic mega-doom plague passed over me and didn't even make me cough.
The antibody test isn't that reliable. Gives tons of false positives. If that's what you're using for your "I had covid!", it very well could be that you never had it and something else made you test positive

Antibody testing is very reliable, as log as you get it done in a reputable lab with a test that does not have cross reactivity with other common pathogens. It should never have a high false positive unless the lab worker uses someone else's blood sample.

I have both had COVID-19 and was vaccinated for COVID-19 quite a while back, I believe the chance of it being unsafe based on my knowledge and experience to be low enough for it to be worth it for me.

This does not mean that I think COVID is all that different from the common flu strains we see going around, nor that the hysteria from the news and the uninformed is justified.

I absolutely will not support a two-class society where the "filthy un-vaxxed" are segregated. I am putting my own livelihood on the line by refusing to provide evidence of vaccination to stand in solidarity with my coworkers who made the conscious choice not to get vaccinated. The vast majority of whom have already been sick and acquired immunity.

One of the core principles I was taught when I entered the field of medicine was that treatment involves informed consent of our patients, which is something that many in the field seem to be forgetting or willfully ignoring. You can believe with all your heart that someone is making a poor medical decision, but forcing it on someone is horrid. Pushing harder and harder for these vaccinations is doing no good, and is only breeding resentment which WILL boil over eventually.

Oh, you are talking about those rapid lateral flow tests. They are pretty bad, yeah. I'm talking about the ones where a vial of blood is sent to a lab and they give you a quantitative result (a number, not true or false), so if it's too low you can assume it's a contaminant or something like that.
Considering I tested positive for antibodies twice was when I gave blood, and I was actually able to donate plasma because of my antibody positive status, I'm going to go ahead and assume that it was legit.

Sorry if that breaks your worldview of COVID as a mega-doom plague that will kill all of us rare endangered homos sapiens...

Sorry when you have an anti-vax spaz who says the vaccine is going to kill nearly everyone who takes it and doesn't even understand math involving percentages, I am a bit skeptical when they make claims about having had a virus.

1) Not anti-vax. I'm vaccinated against quite a few things which will actually kill me
2) Never said everyone (or even most people (or even a significant fraction)) who gets it will suffer serious effects
3) Where the fuck did you get the math part from?

Uh huh, that's why you parrot anti-vax talking points
2) Never said everyone (or even most people (or even a significant fraction)) who gets it will suffer serious effects
You've marked those schizo posts as "winner" and "agree", so yea, you do.
3) Where the fuck did you get the math part from?
There was a post where a spaz said covid had a survival rate of 99.999997% (or something similar) and you "Agreed" the post.

So you're mad about stickers I gave to other people?

If we can't be sure we had it, why should we trust the numbers? Especially the numbers from corporations that got society shut down?

Stop licking international corporatist boots.

So why did you donate plasma for a nothing burger?

Well, you marked the post "agree" so you agree, no?

I am not mad, I am just pointing out you're as much a tard as the other schizo anti-vaxers. Sorry if that upsets you so much. I recommend next time you google something to try and sound smart on here, google how math involving percentages works so you'll come off as less of a retard to anyone with higher than a 5th grade education

Lol, clam down faggot, it's a sticker not a cock, it doesn't cause butthurt.
Who said I was mad? He asked where he said that stuff and I pointed it out. Whose sock are you, anyway?

I know you're an anti-vax spaz so you're a complete retard, but there's a difference between testing showing numbers and antibody tests. Again, I know you don't know the difference because you're just another science-illiterate spaz on Kiwi Farms, but I recommend looking it up.
