this is likely because your progenitors were immunized, as were their progeny. many of the diseases for which there are vaccinations have been eradicated because of vaccines, so those vaccines no longer need to be promoted. for many of the diseases that do still exist, like rabies, there are childhood immunizations that aren't promoted, they're required.
