One day science people say "x" then they found out "y" and that "x" was not really the way to go. That belief can be right or wrong at times. With COVID I'm making the choice of trusting them, rather than trusting you guys. I think it's the sensible thing to do.

I don't trust science people all the time. In this particular issue, and due to my personal experiences, I think trusting them is for the best. That's a decision.

Look, I'm not going to be one of those people who go around sci.hub or whatever the fuck and start reading every study on the subject and think I can reach meaningful conclusions from an insanely complex topic such as virology and epidemiology of a novel disease. Ultimately, learning and reaching a consensus takes time. Koch's germ theory took years to gain acceptance and consensus. My bet is with the real specialists on this field.

There's almost never %100 consensus in science. Especially in a novel field. But if most policies worldwide are of vaccination, then it must mean there's a powerful consensus approving vaccination of most experts for this disease.

To be honest, I understand the distrust you guys have of big corporations and politicians, etc. But the way I see it, let's say Boeing makes a new 7X7 plane, and through shady corporate and political dealings, it makes a killing and screws the average taxpayer out of their money. Sucks. But I'd still expect the damn plane to get me from point A to point B alive with a high degree of probability.

I chose this example purposefully because I know about the 737 MAX disaster and to point how my reasoning can be flawed. But well, It is what it is. I've made my bet and I'm jabbed.
