In the OP itself you said this. To this, posters started not only saying they would not take the vax but they started stating their reasons not to--you know, because your OP said you didn't know why anyone would be skeptical and that, if they were, they were hypocrites.

You then flip-flopped earlier on for a dozen pages pretending to be a moderate and rational person, only to then start showing yourself to be a boot-licking lefty uber-vaxxer once other uber-vaxxers started chiming in. You made this thread with disingenuous intent to try and expose anyone skeptical of the Covid vax as anti-vax nutcases, but all you did was get you and your fellow retards dragged for almost a hundred pages until you all started Trumsperging and reciting "trust the science" and, for you, welcoming draconian and schizophrenic measures from the government and CDC--and yeah, it's schizophrenic to go from literal doom-saying to just shrugging along with new rules in just over a month. It's such whiplash that Left and Right leaning outlets had to call it out.

I didn't want the vaccine, to be honest. I'm not a general antivaxxer (gimme that sweet sweet Salk juice, plz), but I'm cautious about anything developed this fast. Also, I'm in a pretty low risk category and don't have any immunocompromised family members.

However, I want to travel next year, and Europe isn't getting any less paranoid any time soon. So I'm getting the Moderna shot.

Honestly I would be a fence sitter on the vaccine if other family members hadn't done it before me and had no detrimental side-effects. I respect those that are waiting because yeah no one knows what the long term effects are of the vaccine.

Welp, it's been two weeks since my parents and other older relatives got the vax and they're fine. I'm not elegible for it because I'm young and these vaxxes have to be rationed since they're sent pretty slowly and in batches to my shithole country.

I have a morbid fascination for American media and the way they spin stories vs the way they spin the stories here. For example our trashy media thing right now is "government bad, not enough vaxenes" and a sector of the medical community that doesn't deal with covid patients specifically but still work with patients and/or in the hospitals are basically begging for the gov to give them their covid vax because only the critical care people got the vaccine. Also some wealthier people or those who live closer to the border are crossing over to America to get vaccinated since those under 30 are projected to be able to get it between 2 and 6+ months from now. I would get it if I could.

American media is all "anti vaxxers are literally Hitler" which is kind of funny. I generally like speaking to skeptics or people who don't want it in person. I suppose when people get really zealous either way it's really annoying.
