I got my first one. I hesitated for complex reasons. Not really worried medically, but there's the sensation of supporting a lie and shoring up failed moral authority.

Below the moon all is contingency, and sometimes the most powerful prayer is a shrug.

Got my first dose of nanomachines. Had to do it in order to be able to travel. First day sucked, which I guess means I've had COVID before since for most people the second shot is supposed to be the worst.

I'm not worried, everyone in my family and friend circles has gotten vaxxed and they're all fine. They can fuck off if they try to make me take yearly booster shots though, I don't even get the yearly flu shot.

I don’t expect you to believe me, and I even admitted it’s probably a coincidence. You can call BS and of course I can’t prove it, because doing so would effectively be a self dox.

It still reaffirms my choice not to get this damn vaccine all the same.

Its' amazing how there's very few of these reactions and side effects overall yet anti-vax right-wingers seem to all know someone who had one. It's almost like you schizos are lying or something

No, can only choose between junk like J&J, PFzr, Moderna, Astra ,therefore waiting for further testing and release of protein subunit based Vaccines which seem to contain the least hazardous components out of all the other vaccines so far.

Also is this considered taking your vaccine?

I got mine in April. Where I live they were offering it in abandoned Sears stores and speedways (no not the convenience stores-actual race tracks). I said "Self, there's no way you're going to an abandoned Sears or race track for damned flu shot!"

Granted we all know it was "Mega-flu" but still, I wasn't too anxious over the whole thing. While friends and family members were tearing their hair out and hyperventilating over Covid, I was just kind of "Meh" about the whole thing.

Then my mother got ill (age related, not flu related) and was under the care of the visiting nurses and they offered to vaccinate all of us in our own home. They would bring the vaccine to us. So I figured I do it since it was in the comfort of my own home and it didn't involve waiting for hours, in line. So I did it. I didn't feel I needed it but I got it to protect my family more than myself. I'm not anti-vac but I'm also not pro-vac either. If I lived alone, I'd probably have passed on it.
