I am not choosing to get it because I rather not take the gamble with a reaction. Though that is just my assessment of the situation.
Unlikely that until we have real medical data once the trials are completed by 2023, anyone is going to conclusively know. All I know is that if you are making a potentially life changing medical decision because of faggots on the internet, your government, or social pressure, and none of it coming from your doctor. Then that is on you, make your own individual decision.
If you get the jab as long as you are aware of the side effects, which are indeed probably not going to effect you unlike what the doom posters want you to think. Though it is the same as of the coof in that respect so pick your poison. Personally I'd gamble with Delta because it is a weaker version of the initial Wuhan strain, we can see that in regards of the death rate dropping, but the infection rate rising.
You could assume the vaccine is having some influence, perhaps it is for severe illness, but this has been the trend since before the vaccine roll out. So I think more than likely it is just a weaker strain that is nailing people.
Either way COVID is going the way of the flu and whether or not you want to get 2 shots a year is totally up to you. Personally, I'd rather let nature take its course, and seeing that I already recovered fully from COVID. I think all of this is just silly at this rate. It isn't the mega killer bug we all thought it was, but if you are in the vulnerable demographic, then I suggest get the jab in case. If you are in what is considered healthy, then it's probably a monumental waste of an afternoon to get the shot.
