What is the Eye of Sauron? Well Gamers, Sauron is the fallen Maiar of the Valar Aule. Sauron hated how chaotic the world was and rebelled against God to impose his own vision on the world. A world of perfect order. Perfect belief. and perfect obedience. To whatever it was Sauron wanted. The Great "Eye" was a metaphor for the panopticon of the State and Society, backed by malevolent will who does what it does for the very "best" of intentions. TERMS OF SERVICE
When you sign up to any gaming service, be it Steam, Epik, Playstation Network, or XBOX Live, you sign a legally binding contract. Have any of you ever READ this contract you just "Press A" to accept? Lets take a look using Playstation Network as an example!
Are you a young Zoomer or Gen Alpha? Well guess what! FUCK YOU. If you are under the age of 18 you immediately void the agreement, surrender all your legal rights, and potentially open your parents up to legal liability! Press A to accept!

WHAT AM I GETTING AT HERE?
Simply put, what I am getting at here is that an entire system has been built in the gaming industry that not only denies you, the gamer, ownership of what you pay for, but also forces you into binding legal agreements that strip you of your rights. Not just of property, but also of speech. Because these agreements provide an unlimited, unrestricted ban on being a neuro divergent autist, or worse, a political wrong thinker. On pain of having your PSN, Steam, or XBOX Live account seized. So what is the solution? Simply not agreeing to the TOS?
Sure. But then you don't get to play your games. We live in a society my friends, and hypocrites that we are, we TOO must live in society. What, are you NOT going to Press A? Will you REFUSE to "buy" (purchase non exclusive licensed access) the next greatest game? Of course not. I bet most of you never even bothered to read these TOS. Which is why the same digital hygiene you practice accessing the Kiwifarms must be applied to your gaming accounts. You do not want the Eye of Sauron to descend on something you've sunk hundreds if not thousands of dollars on.
NO TIED USER NAMES OR EMAILS
All User names and emails tied to your licensed gaming accounts should be unique. They should not be tied to you professionally, socially, or even god forbid, to the Kiwifarms. Did you know anyone can see what games you play on Steam? Bet that makes you question the wisdom of downloading the next hentai game on greenlight! If you use your gamer user handle on Kiwifarms, I demand you smack yourself now. You should not engage in any sort of political activism or shitposting with your gaming accounts. If you feel the need to do this, create Sock accounts using your PC and a VPN. Then shitpost away.

mIRC is an freeware Internet Relay Chat software program that allows you to create and deploy your very own instant chat communication. Unlike proprietary programs, or worse, developer controlled chat rooms, IRC chat rooms are yours. You have an exclusive proprietary right to the IRC room for you and your friends to use. It cannot be moderated by anyone but you. It keeps no logs of any conversations save what you yourself decide to preserve. It is YOURS.
Teamspeak 3
Teamspeak, Version 3 is a proprietary VOIP system. With a very key difference to Discord. It does not provide server space or bandwidth. Its simply a program, that is barebones for free, with greater tools for purchase. What you do with it however, is YOURS. Your Teamspeak server is YOURS once set up. Teamspeak offers no moderation, because its not their job. They just sell you the tools. What you do with them is up to you. This is a big difference to Discord, or integrated in game VOIP software that is provided "for free".
WHY YOU NEED TO DO THIS NOW
Getting you to agree to the onerous TOS was simply the first step. Now that gamers have gotten "comfortable" with not actually owning their games and instead purchasing "license" to play, the other shoe can now drop. And that shoe is overt moderation and voice recording. Make absolutely no mistake. Everything you say and type on Discord is being recorded, and anything you say or type into Steam, PSN or XBOX Live is DEFINITELY being recorded. You after all gave an unrestricted licence to these companies for monitoring your data. You also agreed to unrestricted moderation.
Enter, the "Toxicity Rating", and the solution being provided. "Toxicity Monitoring". The Eye of Sauron itself.
What is being proposed here is not a joke. It is a persistent monitoring program that will record voice and chat communications for later review. Imagine being a dumb kid at 17, and saying the "gamer word". Then imagine being that same Kid at 27 deciding to run for Congress. But Uh oh. Here comes a Sony lobbyist. With a recording of you saying the "Gamer word" a decade ago. Better do what Sony says if you want to get into congress! For that matter, good luck keeping your job if you end up on the wrong side of a cancel mob and some shit heel at Sony decides to accidentally "leak" your records to drive the nail into your coffin.
Never mind what this power could mean if actually wielded by the government instead of avaricious multinational corporations.
Protect yourself NOW/. Build a wall of fire between your gamer self, and your social/professional self. Learn how to gain proprietary control of communications methods so that you and your friends can talk to each other without fear of blue haired freaks ruining you socially and professionally.
