Did your glorious Russia give Crimea away to Ukraine when their last well-planned and everlasting socio-political experiment collapsed under its own weight? Yes or not?

Are you Russian Patrick Tomlinson with all this "wrong, child"? :)
On 19 May 1995, Crimea agreed to remain as part of Ukraine and annulled their proclamation of self-government. By 30 June, Crimean Communists forced the Kyiv government to expand on the already extensive autonomous status of Crimea. In the same period, Russian president Boris Yeltsin and Ukraine's Leonid Kravchuk agreed to divide the former Soviet Black Sea Fleet between newly formed Russian and Ukrainian Navies.

The agreement, signed on 21 April 2010 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, by Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and ratified by the parliaments of the two countries on 27 April 2010, aroused much controversy in Ukraine. The treaty was effectively a continuation of the lease provisions that were part of the 1997 Black Sea Fleet Partition Treaty between the two states. Shortly after the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation in March 2014, Russia unilaterally terminated the treaty on 31 March 2014.

Khrushchev literally gave Crimea to Ukrainian SSR, because it dawned on him that it would be much more logical and beneficial, if the closest republic takes control (and also because he was horrified by what he saw when he visited Crimea at the end of 1953).

North Crimean channel was built by primarily Ukrainian workforce and the final addition to it happened several years after the fall of the Union.

But sure, let retards repeat ad nauseam that "CRIMEA WAS ALWAYS RUSSIAN REEE".

And yeah, Yeltsin okayed it. Ukraine did wrestle for Black Sea Fleet for a bit though.

and yet the 1991 referendum voted in favour of independence, 1992 Crimea declared independent, 1994 wanted more autonomy after it was sold out to Kiev, and dual Ukr/Rus citizenship, then in 2014 voted to join Russia.
Sounds like the current state of Crimea is the will of the people.
you don't care anyway, won't pick up a stick to defend it.

1994 wanted more autonomy after it was sold out to Kiev
They actually got it believe it or not. If only the commies in power wouldn't push it too much, forcing Kuchma's hand. Sure enough, if Crimea returns to Ukraine, it will never again have autonomy.

They should have had it in 91 and 92 but kiev didn't give a shit about democracy or self determination of people.

Russia tried to do 2014 shit in 1992 - 1994, which is why this whimsical non-sequitur excuse doesn't work. Every single time it was Russia that instigated shit, not the "people of Crimea". Sorry buddy, there are those who know history of the area actually.

Hey, @Useful_Mistake, since nobody here discusses your autistic policies, maybe move the slapfight to that thread where people on the verge of banning in N&A and Happenongs go?
I'm happy with this autism being contained here. I assume anyone who wants to complain about me will @ me.

Bullshit, and you're full of bullshit. The 1991 referendum for Crimea to become an autonomus republic happened 8 months before Ukraines declaration of independence. In 1992 the people of Crimea wanted to take things one step further and gain full independence. this had nothing to do with Russian interference but instead the will of the people. 2014 happened because the democrratically elected representitive of Ukraine voted for by the peeps of Crimea was deposed by a coup. If you're going to pull the 'muh Russia bad' then cite it, or fuck off to die in a trench in Bahkmut.

a sudden, violent, and unlawful seizure of power from a government.

Yanukovich ran away, or rather got extracted by Russians. Nobody ousted him, he abandoned his post and an interim president acted before the election. Verkhovna Rada was also active and wasn't dissolved during Maïdan.

As for the sources re: 1992-1994 Crimean crisis, here's the nice source from 2007, it's in Russian: https://web.archive.org/web/20160304202451/http://palm.newsru.com/russia/27nov2007/flot.html
