Yes, Maïdan literally was running on cookies and handshakes, that is definitely a proof of the fact that Yanukovich was violently deposed, imprisoned and he dindu...oh wait, remind me, what started off first mass demonstrations? Did it have to do anything with riot police beating up students, maybe?

If the former hat thief had more sense and brains, he would've let students protest and he'd still be president.

A peaceful 'student' protesting at Maidan 2014 - colourised. These cunts and their supporters should burn in hell, never felt safe walking down my street at night with a regular group of them asking for money and cigarettes like beggars.

Every protest will inevitably have a businessman or several joining it and funding certain parts of it, does this make the protest any less valid? Just because opportunists join it, doesn't mean that entire thing suddenly loses value.

It is not like a bigger country anexed a huge parts and stared a fucking war.

Yanukovich made the first misstep. He shouldn't have escalated the protest further. Nationalists, as well as Nazis, have a vested interest in protecting their country, so they inevitably are first in the ranks when they perceive that country is in danger. I fail to see how opportunistic billionaire funding certain organizations to their benefit somehow invalidates the protest.

You might be surprised that various different factions often work together in times like Maïdan or the war.

And the people and Govt of Crimea protected their country and interests in chosing to leave Ukraine, and join the Russian Federation. 1991 independence was invalidated by Kiev, 1992 and beyond was too, so when 'their man' was overthrown in a coup, they looked after their own interests. Win.
