It's kind of amazing how many people/companies are screwing this up. Literately all they have to do is post a black square in order to shut these SJW maniacs up, and yet somehow they get it wrong.
 
I'm honestly looking forward to the official Game Grumps™ statement about BLM. I'm sure the lovelies will eat it up. It's like all he cares about in this scenario is how him and his "brand" look in front of the lovelies. If he truly cared about this, he'd have done a better job at showing it than simply retweeting shit, and just made a statement already.

EDIT: Should mention that I saw "vernon's live" last night as well: the cops didn't block them to the degree they're implying, throw tear gas at them, or anything of the sort, they set a perimeter around them of around 2 blocks wide and 2 blocks long; Vernon loudly instigated a cop by throwing stuff (which I'm guessing were the zip ties Buttchamps is referring to) and nearly physically assaulting the officer, despite his position as a field medic meaning he should not have been in a place to instigate them in the first place nor should he have because that wasn't his job to begin with per the protestor sheet. Even if they were blocked in as tightly as they were implying.

If someone can find an archive of the livestream, I'd really appreciate it.

What's interesting about this is that none of the replies to it are critical of them from what I've seen, which leads me to believe that they may be making use of the new hide tweets option? IDK, the only slightly critical thing I've seen is (them ignoring) accusations of their editor being a pedo.
Also, am I the only one who thinks that two retards playing video games and talking about piss and shit isn't really a "brand"?

It's a "brand" in that if Arin could sell you GG labelled jars of fart, he would. Whatever trash he can get his hands on, slap his worthless logo on and sell it at a premium.

I think you need to give hella props to Oney for marketing his work rather than himself: all of the stuff he makes not on the basis of "oh this is an Oney thing, so you should buy it right?". You gotta give the guy props for that. Plus he's at the least tried to venture into all art forms imaginable on his own, and Egoraptor by compassion made flash cartoons for a few years and then stopped making them altogether when his Let's Play shit took off.
It would be fucking easy as shit for Oney to jump on the bandwagon of "support me because im a mentally ill artist" because iirc there's a part in his old Pokemon series where he claims he's legit autistic.
To be a bit more on topic, I think it's important to note that from most people's accounts Egoraptor's always been a total dick. Even in the Newgrounds days. I could say more about it, but this tweet (https://twitter.com/D0ugl4sM0/status/1267739921651060736) is a pretty interesting firsthand account of Egoraptor from a Newgrounds user that was around at about the same point in time that he was.

Emily Youcis is an oldschool Newgrounds animator behind the series Alfred Alfer who got redpilled and became super pro Trump, /pol/, and white nationalist. At some point, Loyd Kaufman, notable for Troma and the Toxic Avenger wanted to make her into a celebrity, but her antisemitism and his Judaism severed the relationship. She made a shitload of money in Bitcoin, married some guy, and doesn't make animations anymore.

She's crazy but in a fun way.

While we're on Emily Youcis, I just wanna say she apparently lent her voice to (collabbed? I'm muddy on it) Where the Dead Go to Die, if you're aware of that edgy schlock abortion. And not just like "Oh some rando fan asked me to be in his animation" lent, like "my friend's making his magnum opus" lent.
No clue about her or her work outside of that but that's not a great first impression.

Why are so many NG people either mega autists or bat shit crazy?

I've only caught a glimpse of WtDGtD because of UberHaxorNova (James) having done one of those dumb reddit 50/50 videos, and just from what little I saw, it... why, why was this abortion of media made?
