I have absolutely been given shit for saying Ocarina of Time is better than Majora's Mask. Even more so when I say the game is overhyped. Personally I always found MM to be overly ambitious and suffered from being rushed through development.

it has its issues for sure, but it also has its charms and uniqueness that made it fun

there is no perfect zelda ga,e. all of them have flaws lol
 
Just wanted to point out Supermega still has not uploaded a video since their cancellation in August. It's possible they may never come back. I just find it very strange because every single claim made against them has been debunked and the accusers have been thoroughly mocked. They have no reason not to come back. If I were Matt and Ryan I'd come back just to spite the accusers. I'd also pursue legal action against them for harming my company and slandering me.

Also a reminder that the lies and controversy all started like a week after they went on Hasan Piker’s stream. Proof that all of his viewers are literal insects looking to feast on whatever they can find.

I took a look at the art and they draw horror icons, the Game Grumps, but they mainly draw drag queens, so much so they have a separate Instagram account just for that art. No wonder Arin is a fan of their art.

That's not what happened. They went on Hasan's stream in 2022 and had him on their podcast the same year. The cancellation happened in summer of 2023. It had nothing to do with it. I do kind of see what you are getting at though, pandering to that woke crowd is why so many of them were so eager to call them rape apologists and go after them for being white. Many of the top posts on their very own subreddit were explicitly accusing them of racism and sexism.

They'll come back eventually. It might take a full year, or it might be in only a few months. The fact that their editor, Justin (nothinbutlag), and one of their old channel artists (the woman one, not the guy accused of rape by that e-whore), are feeling comfortable enough to hang out with tem publicly and mention them in a positive light in YouTube videos and social media means that, at the very least, they're testing the waters.

But, again, even if all the claims made against them have been debunked, damage was still done. Ryan had to admit that he was cheating on his partner with fans; they probably had to lay off a bunch of staff while they're not making content; and the social media pages of their friend who killed themselves, as well as their families, got dragged through the mud, which probably opened up old wounds.

You know what's the most insane thing about the "rape" allegation? Her story was they were messing around and while blowing him he pressed down too rough on her head which I guess gagged her she told him to stop and then he did. That was it. That turned into him being a rapist. It's terrifying how your life can be ruined over what was literally just a miscommunication during sex.

Do you think they're just burnt out? I could see the "allegations" setting them over the edge and wanting to either walk away or take an extended break. maybe they're trying to leave Cali before it secede form the union.

Their entire fanbase including their very active subreddit completely bought into the allegations and posted gifs of Matt getting punched in the face and calling him a rape apologist. I imagine a betrayal like that would leave you really considering whether or not you want to make online content anymore.

Yep. And, given everything else she provably lied about it, I see no reason to believe her about Don (the artist she accused) either. Especialy since she continued dating and interacting friendly with him afterwards.

But, given he's much less famous than SuperMega and hadn't been their unofficial thumbnail artist for a while by the time the allegations came out, I guess he was just the sacrificial limb that not even SuperMega deemed worthy of defending.

Don arguably got fucked over the hardest out of all the people in the Supermega drama. Met up with a girl he met online, accidentally was too aggressive during a blowjob he apologizes they continue dating and sleeping together then months later BAM she was SA'd, he's a rapist and his career and image are forever tarnished. He also doesn't get people coming out to point out he was obviously framed because no one wants to risk going to bat for a nobody and risk being call a rape apologist.
