Does Arin Gay? To be fair, I thought that Chris wasn't gay back in the day, so who knows anymore.

But I got to wonder, if Arin is Bi or whatever why does he hide it? The guy is in California. He loves being left wing. He's a huge attention whore and clout chaser. This math does not add up.
 
I don't think Arin is bi, nor do I see him ever going trans. He just says these things because creepy twitter trannies are his bread and butter these days and implying either of those things is just dangling keys to those people. Same as how he keeps pandering to furries as well

Yeah, actually. Does anyone here still watch it? Or even just check in? This is where I keep tabs on gg, I haven't even checked the subreddits since the Dan grooming shit went down.

I just figure if something big enough happens, it'll make its way to the thread.

I think the answer is easily a resounding "no". The only activity is about those related to GG anymore. I came back lurking here after learning SuperMega returned, and that seems to be the same for nearly every other regular in this thread.

It makes for an easy melting pot since those like SuperMega don't have enough frequent lolcow moments, though it'd be nice if we could get separate threads in the future. At some point piling everybody into a single half-dead thread becomes annoying.

There's really nothing to left say about Game Grumps at this point. They've clearly gone out of there way to avoid drama since the Grooming allegations and they just pump out the same parasocial videos they've been putting out for a few years now.
Like is there even to really to say about this type of Buzzfeed tier content? If people enjoy it that's fine it's just not for me.

Their views have dropped off but they still have a pretty decent following. The main Game grumps channel averages around 200-300k views per video. Which to be totally fair isn't bad for a series that's literally 12 years old at this point it's just a pretty big drop off from their peak.

Their second channel "The grumps" gets about double that 500k per video sometimes break a million.

I've never understood the rationale that some people, such as Rich Alvarez (remember him?) could fall off so hard, but Arin can pump out the same uninspired shit and still maintain decent popularity. What's the difference between the two?

I don't think so. They're piss easy to produce and the people who still watch at this point will probably still watch til the end of time, and they probably know it too.
 
10 Minute Power Hour is literally just them ripping off Good Mythical Morning. No wonder it does better numbers than let's plays do now. Arin and Dan even were guests on GMM multiple times, I would bet that Arin saw that and figured it was a much better way of making content.

Not even close. Nu Grumps barely generate to 500k views while JonTron's current videos are beyond 1-5mil views, and it's because Jon experiments with something new while the Grumps are still doing the same shtick without trying anything new. Sure, people can argue that the OneyPlays crew have also done the same let's play videos, but they also experiment newer things while not divorcing the let's play concept, and also, they're still funny (mainly people like Chris, Zach, Tomar and Lyle are the most hilarious). Meanwhile, the Grumps are doing their same exact shtick since 2015, and almost a decade later they'll never try anything new or relevant.

tl;dr Arin and his crew are cucks who refused to try anything new
 
I like game grumps, I haven't maintained that same status their entire life time. But I've enjoyed it for the most part, they don't seem like horrible people. Just flawed humans like most of us.

For the most part its a stable and enjoyable series of videos that show up in my youtube feed.
