Guy literally about to burst into tears (or pretending to? That's very much a woman thing but who knows) because the PaRtNeR was being MisGeNdEreD.

It's unbelievable to see that this was about Matt & Ryan's ARTIST [allegedly] sexually assaulting someone, but that's almost seemingly been completely forgotten about at this point because shitting on Matt & Ryan over anything is just more profitable. It's so blatant. I can't imagine being one of the viewers who fall for this and buy all of the hype hate. It's funny, I was just thinking about this today. The reality is pretty much any creator who claims they've grown as a person and changed is full of shit. Even "super wholesome" Danny almost dropped an n-bomb during a recording of breath of the wild. The only thing they learned is how they should avoid saying certain things to protect their career. That is basically the whole flaw with the current progressive movement. They rely on shame and intimidation tactics to make people behave the way they want but don't actually do anything to convince people to change how they think. So Matt and Ryan may publicly say "trans rights" or whatever but on the inside they are still the same edgelords they always were.

The best thing I saw was someone asked why is everyone suggesting to go watch Oneyplays, since he has done all the same stuff but publicly and not hiding it. the overwhelming response was because he never pretended to be wholesome.
All these fags played themselves by trying to appeal to the 1% percent of snowflake people.

Listen, all your so called "friends" have either turned on you or will turn on you. You saw first hand what happened to ProJared and now you're living through it. So the best thing you can do now is be honest and reveal everything. I'm not just talking about this incident, I'm talking every bit of dirt on every creator you've ever worked with. Every single one.

All your friends have thrown you to the wolves, so pull them in with you. Create a new target, or targets, for the internet to latch onto, especially if it's worse than what you've done.

I'm going to be honest, it's not going to pull off all the heat from you, but it's going to pull off quite a bit. And you're not going to gain back all the subscribers you've lost, but the left "allies", or whatever you want to call them, love honesty and so you'll be able to win back at least some by coming forward with whatever information you have.

Let's face it, none of your "friends" are ever going to work with you again, and your channel is sinking pretty hard right now, so what do you have to lose?

I know the whole "get woke go broke!" thing is a boomer meme at this point but it's actually kind of true for Supermega. They heavily pandered to the woke Tumblr crowd during the Floyd riots and now are getting cancelled by that same "woke" audience. They tried to spin their public image as being a progressive channel while still enjoying edgy anti-PC humor and are now paying for it. You can't have both a woke audience and do edgy humor it doesn't work. Oneyplays on the other hand as you pointed out were always open about liking shocking humor. They never pretended to be a political channel. And guess what? They are doing great because of it.

Moral of the story? Just be fucking honest to your audience. If you like saying edgy shit for laughs say it. Don't apologize and don't pretend because you have the right politics you are immune to cancellation.

That's why this scandal is what they deserve, regardless of how true or severe the accusations are. Their politics are built off of having a sense of superiority over everyone else especially when it gets them rewarded careerwise. They're LA progressive good boys, stuff like this shouldn't be happening with the image they're trying to push of themselves and they know it. It wouldn't be heckin' wholesome to have to admit there was some kind of sexual assult going on behind the scenes, so they cover it up.
