Haven't watched anything SuperMega since they started their queer woke political façade so didn't even know who "Leighton" was but he sounds/looks like a faggot.
I don't like Matt and Ryan but this is basically a nothingburger with a hint of them acting like faggots.
I still hope they crash and burn for what they did to DingDong and how they claimed Oney "made them act edgy" and "regret it all", fucking losers.

Also this showing Matt is nothing but a drama loving two faced high school girl, even compared to DingDong.

So here is a brief update on the whole Supermega drama
  1. The part about them making fun of their friend killing himself was entirely a lie made up by a disgruntled ex employee. So was them dropping "nigger" casually in the office and misgendering someone
  2. Ryan confirmed he was using the fanbase for casual sex, cheated on his GF of 7 years and most likely is leaving Supermega forever. Says he doesn't deserve a platform to speak on.
  3. They admit to horribly mishandling the SA case.
For whatever reason they never addressed them forcibly fingering Justin in an episode
 
Rav's stream sounds as if it was a lot of nothing, but what stuck out was his avoidance of this cap. He didn't address it at all.

Admittedly I haven't watched Superb Mega in years at this point but seriously who the fuck are all these literal whos they've hitched themselves to. Just when you think it couldn't get any worse than the Jackson hilarity.

Based on Matt's video it seems like that Rav and Lex were privately seething that they couldn't live at the SM office rent free and smoke weed all day while sending nicey-nicey texts about how they "don't want to overstay their welcome uwu".

I mean, doesn’t that mean SuperMega is over if one of the two members quits. Like, I know Grumps continued after Jon, but that was only a year after the channel started.
 
Here is my take now that we've heard from both sides. This is largely speculation so don't take it as fact.

The incident between Don and Lex happened, the severity of which we don't really know. When Lex went to Matt and Ryan about it they weren't equipped to handle the situation, which why would they be? No one really prepares for one of their friends to sexually assault another and be responsible for handing out consequences, but eventually they were able to work things out with Lex.

For the living situation. Rav and Lex were over staying their welcome and Matt and Ryan wanted them to leave but were too soft to have the conversation with them so they got another employee to handle confronting them. Lex and Rav didn't like the cold touch and took offense to it but eventually they moved out and over time relationships were restored.

Now what I think had happened is Leighton was bitter about getting fired from Super Mega, so he started reaching out to anyone formerly associated with Matt and/or Ryan who had any sort of grievance with them. Then they coordinated this attempt at canceling, with Lex's story being the bomb and everything else just adding fuel to the fire. I don't think it's a coincidence because from the story the whole sexual assault incident was resolved. They got rid of Don and they continued to associate with Lex. It was not an unaddressed issue. Same with the supposed eviction of Rav and Lex, both parties were cordial after that. On top of that Don has been almost irrelevant through this whole thing. The guy who actually allegedly committed the assault is ignored and the focus is put on Matt and Ryan. Given some of Matt's receipts a lot of the extra pile on stuff is baseless, contradictions and lies, but I think Leighton knows honesty isn't really required at this point and the Lex stuff is enough to get everyone to believe anything else said about Matt and Ryan.

In conclusion I think Leighton, Rav, Lex and Morgpie were bitter about Matt and Ryan and coordinated an attempted cancelling. Matt and Ryan are definitely guilty of some things but this isn't about exposing them as a warning to others but purely as an act of revenge from some scorned former associates.

I guess to more specific, hard drugs. I wouldn't consider shrooms to be a hard drug but yeah he constantly talks about smoking weed and taking some stuff every now and again. The devils lettuce is even the theme of some of their videos.

I'll admit I don't have to much experience when it comes to drugs but I've seen and heard enough that it seems to me he might have a problem with something that's not a typical hallucinogenic.

Especially when part of their appeal is how close they seemed to be, if ryan is willing to just get up and leave like that then it throws their fans into doubting if they were truly best friends

Does anybody else find super long videos like this to be way less credible just due to their length alone?
Like, how is someone supposed to respond to something this long? If it's too short cause you only answered key points then people will call you dishonest for the things you left out and if it's too long because you want to answer everything, you'll come off as unhinged and obsessive for making an even longer video.
Kinda just seems like a cheap tactic for creating an unwinnable situation to me.

Here's a heavy tl;dr of what has happened in the apologies and since they have come out. Theres some new info I cant confirm but this is what I have collated

  • Both admit to fucking up the rape situation. (Note: This is the same dude that got outed for grooming, I don't remember the details exactly though.)
  • Ryan admits to fucking his fans
  • Ryan's partner is actually genderfluid so misgendering has been essentially forgiven
  • Matt cheated on his steady GF because he got drunk and took mushrooms and kissed an ethot he fell for
  • Ryan cheated on his long distance GF because he couldn't resist the fan pussy instead of being faithful and waiting for his GF. Allegedly he has fucked a few fans (Dan Avidan trained him well)
  • Their channel editor and artist have stopped working for them (Old news, but they've been a part of the channel for years and their willingness to just wash their hands of the whole thing is very telling)
  • Their rented "Office" which was basically a frat house they did everything in, is a pit of filth
  • They admit to talking about Daniel (their late friend from their first Youtube endeavour Cyndago) in a joking way referring to his suicide.
  • They always were extremely inappropriate with the way the interacted with each other including borderline sexual assault (examples range from showing privates to touching someone else's privates even when they protested.) and generally just trying to make people around them uncomfortable as a joke.
  • Generally was insensitive to their gay employee (Leighton) making jokes at their sexuality's expense, allegedly he was okay with it at the time but still felt uncomfortable. Very wishy washy narrative wise. People don't know whether to believe that Leighton was agreeing because they were his bosses or if he's making it up for ammunition.
  • Leighton the source of most the information is unreliable and has had multiple accusations directly contradicted
  • Leighton was a problem employee for them for a while and they finally had to hire a lawyer to get rid of him without causing a scene
  • Leighton has been bragging about being able to cancel Super Mega ever since he was fired
  • Leighton's stream was monetized
It seems like the pendulum is starting to swing back towards the gay alog disgruntled employee as it stands. He has yet to reply to the response videos. It seems like the damage is done, by the way it sounds Super Mega may be dissolving or at the very least Ryan may be leaving.
