Supermega didn't really do that much to Oneyplays to be honest. On a Christmas podcast they apologized for a few of the edgier jokes they made on the show and said they felt pressured to make them. To say they threw them under the bus would be an exaggeration.

Remember how Game Grumps was going to create some new shows? You might not because it was way back in October of 2022, 13 months ago, where they upped their Patreon prices by $5 for specifically for this reason.

Well their most recent, locked, post on their Patreon reveals what they've been working on. Arin and Dan are going to read fan submitted fan fictions to each other.

Now as we all know, Game Grumps fans are all completely normal so any fan fictions submitted won't be fucked up or weird at all. But what baffles me is, this idea is 13 months in the making, several thousand dollars received from fans, in order to create a show where they not only just read other people's work, but get fans to find said work for them, so they don't have to.

I will fully admit I was wrong and take the L here. I completely forgot about the dream daddy drama and how cowardly Matt and Ryan were. Totally blanked on that while writing my post. So yeah, they did actually treat oneyplays like shit.

There's so much fucking wrong with this so I'll just highlight two.
1) 13 months just for that?

2) UHM PARASOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS, HELLO? You know, this is really a shitty look after it came out that Dan was fucking fans. But then again, these people also sold body pillows of themselves.

I think point 2 actually disturbs me far more.
