On a separate note -apparently, the garage sale the Grumps scheduled for this weekend did so well that they cancelled the second day.
But that's okay - they promised to make up for it at a later date.

I'm on the right with Dan. Got these figures that where previously owned by Arin Hanson and Monty Oum. When Arin was signing my backpack he said that Monty gave him those figures.shin-cos-zilla.tumblr.com
Look, I get it: you don't keep everything your friends gift you, but selling off something a dead friend gave to you to random fans on the Internet because you're that strapped for cash is just...ouch...
Ross replies in that tweet that he left the note in the game on accident, which I may be foolish for believing but I’m willing to trust him on it. Arin on the other hand... it might be an accident to give away a dead friend’s stuff, but to tell the people you’re selling it to that it was a dead person’s is pretty low. At some point you may have to get rid of it, but you don’t barter it off at a garage sale. It’s something you treat with a little more respect. What a fucking shitshow.
I never thought, even on my time in Kiwi Farms, I'd see a fanbase be at risk of baking to death in the hot Californian sun, but...here we are.

Also, fucking low to sell fan gifted games back to fans. Would it be too much to send the games back with a thank you or something?
I can 100% garuantee rain could get that info off of fans. Someone somewhere has most definitely compiled a list of everyone thanked for sending them a game. For those Arin's worthless ass didn't thank, they should have called Arin out for his shit.Considering they couldn't even remember what fan sent what when they did play donated games on their channel; I somehow doubt they'd have kept mailing addresses once the packages were opened.
So, more information has come to light according to the garage sale. Apparently, the reasons as to why the event shut down wasn't because they ran out of stock or what have you, it was actually because, well: remember how the police showed up at 2 pm to shut the whole thing down?
It turns out Arin didn't have a permit to be there, and may actually get fined for possibly endangering people's lives in LA. Naturally the Game Grumps stans on Twitter were giving excuses like "Oh it was just a mistake", "Well people going should have researched the event before going out there", "Geez maybe people shouldn't be upset that they cancelled the second day, they didn't expect that many people", "STOP BEING ENTITLED THAT YOU FLEW OUT TO LA TO MEET THEM! They're just people", and so on.
I like Dream Daddy, I like Ding Dong and Julian and I like OneyPlays.
the drama threads keep popping up on this. I think some of it might be true, but I hope it is not because I would really like to see those boys all streaming together again. I knw Julian has his reasons for not wanting to be on OneyPlays anymore and I am sympathetic to that, but DingDong saying that everyone just stopped seeing each other all together makes me think something weird did happen. I miss seeing them all together but I am glad I can still support WanWan on patreon.
I think /u/SwizzlyBubbles has the most comprehensive post on the matter and I agree with them that maybe no one is telling the full story https://www.reddit.com/r/rantgrumps/comments/afyam0/what_even_is_all_the_drama/ee37zle/
I think I found some new info when reading through comments on the dream daddy documentary and saw this one that was bringing up drama.

has anyone posted these here before? it is sort of the same thing as Brian and Suzy saying that Julian and Ding Dong were lying but this just seems more credible coming from Tyler cause he gives a little more explination other than just calling them liars. Also hedoes not outright call them liars he just says they seemed weird and rude. This makes me think that maybe DingDong was acting like he knew more about it than he really did when he was on stream because he would get some attention for it. Him now claiming that it was not a big deal makes me think he is backpedaling cause he knew he was exagerating for the stream and being overly cynical.

Also made a throwaway to post with after I saw how people treated SwizzlyBubbles. (ノΦωΦ)ノ
Responses in the past were true about why we had left the office, Dream Daddy wasn't a factor and it was more about Oneyplays getting to be independent rather than being under Game Grumps. I've kept all the personal aspects of this off the table out of respect but what that lead to is this coming up endlessly having the knife in the back getting twisted deeper. I don't really have ill-will towards anyone about this anymore, I took it as just immaturity with our own part at fault for being naive and going along with it.
Why did this all happen? Because there was a lot of petty conflict around the project and we only realized it after it was too late.
On a day to day basis we'd hear complaints from people both internally and externally. We were shown the beta hearing from people how upset it made them, saw lengthy emails written complaining about the project, hearing them state how exploitative it was, hearing how some had to put on a smile and pretend to care for the project fearing losing their job, just constant misery and woe that would leave us exhausted by the time we'd get home. After endlessly hearing people express their frustration we finally talked to some and compiled thoughts and feelings since people thought they couldn't voice themselves about this safely.
Given the fact this was going to potentially threaten people's jobs if they said anything - it made sense to us why they were too scared to say anything. Some were even worried that just being heterosexual and saying anything would wind up with them getting labeled a bigot.
So after talking to people and preparing for all of this - what happened after speaking up? Backpedaling.
Many of the people we had discussions with about this ended up saying that they were just caught in a bad head space at the time, some saying how they actually loved it all along and just felt like they had to say they hated it for others, and all of this is why internally they moved on quickly - it was immature drama around workplace woes and not much else. The feelings weren't very sincere and people changed their tune as soon as their words were now out there. It felt like a big knife in the back since publicly we got to take all the brunt for it, but not wanting to muddy things further I just bit my lip and accepted it hoping it'd all pass since it was my fault for saying anything..
The day when the stream clip kept getting posted to the subreddit just about pushed me over the edge, Julian thankfully being there and saving me from doing something stupid to myself. My cellphone number somehow got out to the public the next day, my extended family was getting contacted by strangers, all our friends we tried to help suddenly turned their backs on us - it felt like everything was over. As hopeless as it all felt for that first week, things changed slowly as time went on and people just went back to talking to each other regularly again. I think once everyone realized this wasn't as big of a deal as the community was making it out to be, it just sort of blew over and things slowly got brushed aside as if it never really happened.
It's in the past, we made the mistake of trying to help people we had just met and learned a pretty big lesson that came from it. It'd be a lie to say we knew nothing about the project (I have the beta build that I was shown) but I can get why there was all this confusion across the board when it came to this since it was a matter of people just not communicating and instead bottling it up and becoming increasingly fed-up. While some people knew we had seen it others were probably 100% completely unaware of it. All of this is a big part of why Julian and I didn't want to be tangled up in the YouTube atmosphere and it wound up making us just not really trust people anymore.
I just want to move forward at this point.
I think the most obnoxious excuse the Lovelies had made for the Grumps was that it was just a garage sale and that they had only planned for 100 people; that it's not their fault that that so many people showed up and that those who were in attendance were acting like it was an event - trying to absolve the Grumps of any fault in the matter and placing it entirely on the fans that went out of their way to attend.
Yeah, no.
An average joe putting up signs for a weekend garage sale would be lucky if 100 people showed up; but the Grumps are not average joes - they're e-celebs with millions of fans, who advertised this (along with their fellow e-celeb friends) advertised the garage sale on all their social media, promising certain people would be in attendance and that people may be able to get autographs from the Grumps themselves . The fans didn't make this an event - the Grumps did! There is no way they had no idea that they'd get so many people showing up; they're just playing stupid in the hopes of avoiding personal accountability for the trouble this little shindig caused.

I'm gonna guess laziness and/or drugs and alcohol. Arin sure likes to claim that he's been growing as a person and learning from his mistakes when he's been doing nothing but mentally staying at 17 year-old. He must know his fangirls let him get away with anything. There was also someone on the r/rantgrumps subreddit who says that the Grumps knew there would be roughly 1k worth of people showing up based on Facebook feedback, alone (they stated as such in a livestream); if that's a fact, where's this 'we didn't expect this turn out' coming from?

They're certainly unlearning alota shit, but to be fair they're learning one thing.Remember guys: never argue. These guys are learning.![]()

So quite literally it's "Please be patient, I have autism" the Grump version.
You said you would edit in timestamps but it's been a few days since it was uploaded and it's still untimestamped. Don't worry I looked through and found the moments:Double-posting because their stream is starting to go completely off the rails.

(Disclaimer: I cannot timestamp the video as the stream is currently ongoing. However, when the VOD is uploaded, I will be sure to edit this post to include timestamps to each portion discussed here.)
And I'll archive the stuff from this post too. Although I had some problems with archive.org, so I used ceddit for archiving the reddit links, and the Youtube ones might not work.EDIT: And before you ask: yes, I'll be archiving most of this is just Reddiy shit. Reasons for both are as follows: 1,) As was established, this and the YouTube comment section is the only actual remnants left still active and still engaged with the Grumps an 2.) I am tired as fuck and do not feel like archiving the remaining Reddit posts I haven't done yet. I'll do that and edit in the timestamps on my last post tomorrow. Apologies, just wanted to get this out ASAP while fire's still hot.
I gotta say, thanks to @OmnipotentStupidity for having such comprehensive breakdowns of the most recent drama. I noticed you forgot to edit a couple posts though:
