"The Grumps" seems to be Arin's way of doing what everyone else with big channels have been doing, weekly podcasts for easy shekels, only with far less effort. It's probably way to hard to do a 2 hour long podcast without Arin cramming it full of sex/dick/gay jokes.

Arin got butthurt at a Sr Pelo cartoon making fun of storytime animators creating a Twitter shitstorm, and around the same time formally announced that Game Grumps may be phasing out the game part of the Grumps, effectively making them The Grumps.

They tell bullshit life stories with "animated" accompaniment (normally just static images in very limited sequence, but I won't tell if you don't). Odd1sOut seems to be a prime example.

He thinks the algorithm is no longer in his favor, so instead I guess they're doing more of a Good Mythical Morning short form podcast type instead of let's plays.
 
I don’t think Arin nor Dan have any conversation skills. The two of them barely hang on to a conversation while playing games.

And those types of topics revolve around Dan being a Jew, the two being awkwardly sexual toward the other, and about Arin’s pussy and sometimes about the game
The idea they can hold a podcast together is laughable

Jumping off of this, I think it'll be even harder for them to switch over to a free form style podcast because they've been doing the channel for X amount of years now and have more or less told all their interesting stories. It doesn't sound like either one of them is doing much of anything so there's a limited pool of new content to talk about. I'll give them some points for at least recognizing they need to do something new, but it sounds like all they're doing is taking away part of their channel, not actually adding anything to it. It'll be even more painful if they're trying to keep up what they think is algorithm friendly content.

I actually thought she was in her early 30s when that picture was first released (she honestly doesn't look like she's in her mid 20s).

But, if her behavior on her Instagram is true; she doesn't act her age, either - more like a starstruck teenaged groupie reveling in the attention she gets from dating a celebrity.

And Dan isn't much of a boyfriend, either - apparently comparing her to his sister, and supposedly couldn't even remember her birthday (which is pretty crappy, considering they've supposedly been dating for two years).

I didn't actually see her picture until recently, so when I heard he was dating someone, because I don't keep up with this shit, I incorrectly assumed that his lady friend was a cool 34 or so at the youngest, seeing as homie's over the fucking hill.
Clearly I grossly overestimated the maturity of a man with a band called Ninja Sex Party.

Also, Arin's made a tweet about Speed Racer being his favourite film because it's about "an artist in a world filled with people taking advantage of him".

I sure fucking hope so. He is a fucking whiny ass manchild who throws shitfits and throws controllers and yells when he gets frustrated (which could be a schtick but anyone who does that deserves therapy) and I seem to recall that they essentially doxxed a GameFAQs writer for apparently not being helpful enough with a Sonic walkthrough that he had written years ago, causing him to go into hiding.

Let's just say that their Sonic Shuffle video is painfully ironic in hindsight now because of what has gone down with Oney and friends.

I don't understand how they managed to hook people like Jamie Lee Curtis, Jacob Anderson, and Grant Kirkhope.
