https://youtube.com/watch?v=oM5dUS9_5dgOne of those "I Wanna be the Guy" style games. Arin voices of the main character that throws out a quip evey time you die.

The Giant Bomb crew talk about how the game is meh, but the voice actor is annoying, unfunny and "a guy that auditioned for Mad TV and couldn't get on".
Bwahaha, I hope Arin throws another bitch fit over the meanie Giant Bomb guys "bullying" him.

Hm, now I wonder if Arin would be desperate enough to suddenly give EGS blowjobs if they promised to put his dating game on their store and add two suitcases of money.
Arin has zero integrity so I don't doubt for a second he would take that offer immediately. However that would require Epic Games to actually want Game Grumps Studios shitty visual novels on their store.

By the way how the hell can it be 2 years since the last GGS "game" and they're only just now workshopping a new "game?" What were they doing for 2 years?

Jerking off each other, what else.

Pimping the ever living crap out of Dream Daddy in a desperate attempt to keep it relevant with failed book signings (Barnes and Nobles and the one hour signing at the Omni Press booth at SDCC), porting the visual novel (I refuse to call it a game) to the Switch and using the Game Grumps online store to peddle their merch.

A game is something where you can interact with elements in said game.
Danganronpa is a VN with gameplay.
DD has no gameplay (unless you count press "A" as "gameplay")

from what ive been told, hatoful boyfriend had decent talking points through out, whereas all the dream daddy team could muster was their tagline.

It is honestly a great parody game. One of the great things about it is that is surrealist humor but it just barely walks the fine line of believably. so when it does a more serious sense IE talking about why a bird is a dressed as a transvestite and working at a bar for one. It goes from funny to sad with out feeling so tonely inconsistent. I mean there is literaly a bird that only talks in CAW but for some reason everyone else talks in normal English.
TLDR: Otis Boi recommends.

To stay on topic I'd say Arin will most likely take an epic game store deal because his fans are such fanatics that anyone they would buy it on epic anyways plus they most likely already have it installed to play fortnite. It will litteraly be one of the few games that isnt going to Sweeney bitched out so he is most likely not going to go for it.

Starbos Cawfee looks weird. And also, I watched that video of the bomb squad playing Never Give Up. Arin likes to proclaim himself as a voice actor so...

Why the fuck does he sound like a shit voice actor in that game?

Because he kinda is one or if at any point the dude was a VA he never practiced to do different voices in different tones/speaking styles.

That's the thing, he has voice acted before and I've heard it. It's not amazing but it's better than what's going on in that boring looking game.

Arin seems to be just getting worse and worse. I'm still thinking one day he's gonna blow the fuck up and troon himself out.

Oh no, that's not me criticising Hatoful, more just pointing out that a pretty famous bird romance VN already exists, i.e. the joke has already been told. If this new GG VN does turn out to be some kind of bird romance joke story, the first word on a lot of people's minds will be Hatoful Boyfriend. Therefore, I'm hoping that I'm wrong, because the correlation is just to easy to make.
Perfect. The more people just say it's Hatoful Boyfriend, the better. Constantly compared and illegitimizes it, as if it isn't its own thing.

Y'know, it's been awhile since we talked about Arin doing stupid shit hasn't it? So let's talk about Arin doing stupid shit.

So y'all remember Zelda Dungeon? The walkthrough site that Arin and Dan used for Majora and Skyward, despite the fact that it's not made for the Game Grumps at all, and in fact are currently switching into it between that a fan one in Twilight Princess? Well, in today's episode, he decides it'd be funny to joke about cancelling Zelda Dungeon to his fanbase, a la Leadfoot/Heavy Iron Studios.

On top of him playing horrendously bad this episode, they blame the walkthrough for several specific things, like it being too non-linear, it not making sense to read, being just as bad as the fanmade walkthrough they've been using which they somehow lost, and not detailing their own route in the game (i.e. the walkthroughs are made for people who actually play the game like a sane person).

Think this guy in the r/GameGrumps thread say it best:
andysaurus_rex said:
Arin this episode: "If a guy's like 'oh you gotta go here and do this" it should be pretty obvious. Like 'oh yeah I've been there.'"
Literally a few episodes ago: https://imgur.com/a/AaQlccz
Arin, a few episodes later: "Hey what about snowpeak? I thought my goth GF wanted me to go there?"

Luckily it seems like the fanbase is more focused on other things, like not being "as poisonous as RantGrumps" and how Arin needs to get a shield and stop using Sequelitis standards on the series, etc., etc., insert points from other TIHYDPs here, but I'd say keep an eye on the ZD Forums over the next few days.

sorry if im beating a dead horse but was there any offical reason why Jontron left game grumps?
That's a whole other can of worms, honestly. Whatever happened, it was the first time GG went dead silent on a controversy, and that trend has continued with every other issue that's come up since.
For a long time, game grumps was friendly with a ton of different groups, and no one had a bad word to say about Arin. Even when the quality of the show started to divebomb, there was no one outside the fanbase who ever brought it up. It felt like you were being gaslighted when you noticed the decline. It's only very recently that more people are speaking up about game grumps and Arin in particular being shit. They're still keeping up the classic silence, though, and treating these recent call outs like they did the JonTron departure. I imagine we might find something out in a couple years from a disgruntled former employee. Probably in the same vein as the Chanel Awesome bullshit a few years ago.

I knew he sucked at playing video games, and hates any Zelda game that isn't ALttP or BotW, but getting lost and calling TP non-linear is the one of the dumbest things I've seen from GG yet. You can tell Dan knows it's all bullshit too from the occasional exasperated sigh and comment slipping through his cheerful demeanor.

Even during it's release TP got a lot of flak for it's easiness and linearity despite being the most serious and mature-looking Zelda title out there, but is still liked for it's story, characters, and its eerie detailed monsters and world design. And yet Arin still blames the game because he's too much of a manchild to listen to a cutscene or NPC for more than 2 seconds when they flat-out tell him where to go next.

Hanson's Law: If there's an expressed way to play a game detailed by said game, Arin will then do the complete opposite for a desired effect that physically cannot be reached.

How much of this is an act though? I think there were moments in the sonic adventure play through where it looked like Arin was deliberately trying to break the game for LULZ.
