Honestly, youtubers need to just fuck off in general. game voice acting is terrible in most cases though, I usually mute or skip dialogue after reading subtitles

AFAIK Tomar has a greater resume than Arin in voice acting, which is ironic considering he's also one of the people he was close friends with and threw him under the bus. Chris, while not a professional like Tomar or even Ricepirate to some degree, still does voice acting for animators in Newgrounds (I think he worked with Lyle on a cartoon made by El-Cid and one from the guys who made Racist Mario).

I agree they have a better range than Arin, but after the Hunt Down the Freeman fiasco, I'm better without e-celebs voice acting in others' projects. It's overall distracting. But I was actually looking forward to River City Girls for fuck's sake.
 
I hate Arin, but I do kinda think he has good voice range.

To have the dissenting opinion, his voice range is actually kind of alright. It's distinct enough, I'd say. That's probably why he's trying to pursue it. It's really the only thing he has at this point.

His range isn’t good, but he is decent at accents, which makes up for that. That’s about all I can say as praise for his “acting talent”

arin has one of those voices where i can instantly identify him, no matter what role hes playing. his range/talent are very identifiable. overused VAs like nolan north or troy baker at least have enough talent/range that it takes a bit of time to piece it together, and doesnt remove me from the overall experience.

expect the game to include arin's regular speaking voice and his "rage" voice, along with stiff acting.

i don't really care that much if Arin's voicing a character but I can tell by the picture that his character is entirely based on Game Grumps. That completely dampens my enthusiasm towards that, if there ever was any

EDIT: never mind, most of the characters are just being voiced by Youtubers. Okay, not getting that game now
 
It would have been better if they just went with the Nintendo / Microsoft / Valve / Sucker Punch method of hiring completely unknown voice actors from Seattle.
(Then again, I'm completely biased towards the days when they did that over hiring generic animu voices)

I know, Valve hired so many great obscure voice actors. They also hired a lot of old people that are dead now.

It's quite serendipitous that whenever we reach these milestones, massive info dumps seem to come out. This time, they've finally gone into detail on their new office, what's gonna happen with the old one, and how Arin continues to waste his large amounts of money on useless decor instead of putting the money somewhere useful.

A law office apparently moved into where they are now and, shockingly, no self-respecting law office wants a Portal-themed bathroom and weeaboo shit plastered all over the office. Also they apparently couldn't be arsed to move the old decor out and into the new bigger office, instead opting for entirely new renovations once they move in despite what the timestamp says (while they're not going as big, they're still making shit like having two huge double doors that are carved into the shape of G's).

...I give them credit that they decided to own the actual building this time, but that and the new decor they plan to put in seems like an even worse waste of money than previous, if that's even possible.

Is that what those permits are for? So Arin can waste more money on fancy decor to make him feel like a big shot business owner? Or is the building they bought not up to code and construction needs to be done before they can legally move in?

It just seems weird that they didn't secure a functioning office building before moving out of the old place. Now Brent and his family (assuming he has one) will be inconvenienced until whatever it is that needs to be done at the new Grumps headquarters are dealt with.
